that was not racist. i bet there is actually some validity in it. so what he said species instead of race. if he had said race then jesse jackson would organize a rally out front of fox news. so what folks, i feel bad he actually had to go on air and apologize for that. again, we are told freedom of speech but not really.....

Wouldn't it be great if a person's worth/legacy was based upon his/hers deeds. Did not matter what race, sex, ethnic origin, political beliefs, etc.(btw etc.....) What the heck you actually did-how many you helped...

I like Fox News Charnel cos that Shepard Smith is the most outrageous closet case with the worst cosmetic surgery on TV.(Now that Clay Aiken has come out.) Not to mention the loofa loving guy. The test of race not being an issue for your child's choice of spouse is an excellent indicator of whether you are prejudice toward other races.

I didn't mention having to limit any other hopes and dreams you might have. I also didn't say that you couldn't object to a person of a different race for other reasons besides race.

Say that your daughter was going to marry a person of a different race that was a drunk or drug addict. Counseling her against marriage in this case would not be racist

But if your daughter was found a person whom she loved and this person had excellent qualities, objecting to marriage on the basis of race would be the definition of racism.

He should not have apologized. What he said was and is nothing but the truth. Why should Americans have to walk around in fear of a six-letter word is beyond me. Do we have to constantly make sure everyone knows that we would marry a person of a different race or creed to make those who hate their own color feel competent? The same ilk who hate others need to know that these others will marry or reproduce with them? It is time the white race stopped being so kind!
