Reagan was a puppet for the Military Industrial Complex. He reduced spendind all over the budget except for defense. I don't know why as the Soviet Union revised their culture during the Reagan Administration. There was no longer a cold war and there for no need to spend 60% of tax revenue on Defense Spending.
Prior to Reagan becoming president there was no need for services for homelessnee in America and other relief agencies. After Reagan women were forece into the work force to help sustain American Families. Reagan raised taxes on American Families twice, but he did cut spending just on social programs which expanded the need for social services, like mental health facilities, we began to put people suffering with mental health issues in prison, exactly like Hitler when he ruled Germany.
So if I am to understand you, you are stating that prior to Reagan taking office, there was no women who entered the work force to help make ends meet, etc.

Or that there were no agencies in place to assist w/homeless people or those in need of psych services? You may want to run that by those who are in the social servies field. And those who I know for a fact were gainfully employed in those fields long before Reagan ever took office. As well, I now for a fact that women had entered the work place long before Reagan took office. The Carter years, etc weren't exactly ones of prosperity where women sat home at at bon bons while their husband was out earning that to provide for his family.

There was no cold war you say? There indeed was. And Reagan allocating that for our defense, I suppose yoedu would like to strip our defense to bare bones. If so, you clearly underestimate those who wish to do harm to this country and why America being strong on defense is important to our National Security.

I as well know for a fact that people with psych conditions were not imprisoned like Hitler when he ruled Germany. It's a little more complicated than what you make it out to be.

But since you state what you have, are you in the employ of social services. Then maybe that would add some credibility to what you state re imprisoning those like Hitler did in Germany.

By the way, I was speaking about risky sexual behavior/etc and the moral decline since the Reagan years and not the politics of Reagan.

It is about time the fat white imprerialistic rich men of this country to start helping the people they abused to gain their wealth! And that means healthcare for all north americans! The people of color have been trampled for too long by being forced to try making a living on meager wages and fighting in the conquering wars our previous presidents have waged. It is about time our government does something right!
Well here's an "inconvenient" fact for ya friend. All the people of "color" as you call them be they Black,Asian,Brown...all of the minorities COMBINED don't make up but 34% of THIS country's total population and that was as late as 2008.(www.census.gov ) You're NOT going to twist being poor, fighting wars etc. into something that only happens to people of "color"! Sorry!! The math just don't support your bullshit claims and never will.

These programs have existed for more than 30 years. This is a primary reason that remote areas of the country are under served by medical professionals. Thousands of physicians owe the federal government for their education because they bailed out on those committments.
Programs similiar to this exist, but non on this scale and for this expressed purpose. Physically seperating the indigents from paying customers has never been tried. Your military analogy is the solution to bailing though, by making the doctors who take advantage of the program legally culpable.
As far as there not being enough seats, expand the available number. With the amount of money that Universities would be getting from this program, this should not be an issue...since this supposedly is a "National Emergency". Will the standards drop? Probably...but isn't that what Affirmative Action is all about anyway?

Really? So why not expand these programs to cover car insurance too? Like you said, it's a must have! Let's let the government borrow and print some fake money...shall we?

You left out one of the most vital statistics. Combined, they pay less 13% of the total tax revenue. They are a drain, not a foundation.

To be fair we must understand that the qualifications that the candidate must possess to be nominated to receive the Noble Peace Prize is very stringent and one must obtain a high rating of all 10 qualifying prerequisites to even be considered. These 10 qualifying attributes MUST exist or the candidate is not awarded the Prize. The second set of 5 prerequisites are just as important as the first 5 prerequisites.

First Five Prerequisites:

The Candidate MUST be:

1. Black
2. Black
3. Black
4. Black
5. Black

Second set of Prerequisites:

1. Liberal
2. Liberal
3. Liberal
4. Liberal

Negroes should be very happy about this bill, after all, it's going to MAKE THEM PAY!

You only have to look at what's going on at the present time concerning Negroes and insurance!

"Lakeshia" one year old died, and she's asking people to go the their local bank and donate money to help her bury her child, BUT,"Lakeshia" has here hair extension, along with her cell phone, and nail do, but DIDN'T think enough of her child to PAY $5.50 a month for burial insurance!

"Sobretia" lives in an apartment that caught fire last night, she cries about her computer and new FLAT SCREEN tv was "burnt up", but she just couldn't seem to find enough money to pay for apt renter INSURANCE, in spite of her gold around neck, csll phone, an "extensions?!Now she is depending upon the "Red Cross" to find her somewhere to stay!

The government should fine the crap out of the sorry assed idiots that want someone else to take care of them.

Amen...down south IL...we need you!!!! No Mark Kirk...a Lib in disguise! Saw how well that worked in NY 23. I don't know how...but we need to tun the Lib state of IL around. I am still amazed that the majority of Americans voted in a Lib from Illinois...let alone from Chicago!
Agreed. They sure did see how well that worked. Hopefully, people heard that message loud and clear. Honestly, I don't know which is worse a liberal who makes no secret of that or those RINOs who say one thing and their actions saying another thing.

You're not alone as far as being amazed that a liberal from Chicago was voted in as President. As I've always said, if people really knew what he was all about, he would never have been voted in. Unfortunately, for many people it in their opinion, voting for what they felt was the better of two evils in a matter of words. People from both sides, Dem and Republican were left disenfranchised by their own parties, respectively, and many truly regret having cast their vote for Obama. The media didn't help much in that had they done their job in fully vetting him, then things would have most likely turned out quite differently.

I honestly believe that in the following days/months the American public is going to see exactly what lies behind the smooth exterior of Obama. And those law makers are going to see exactly the result of aligning themselves w/him as they did to push through the healthcare legislation when the voters take to the voting booth. They underestimate the American people and especially when their will is not done by those law makers who work for the people. Not the reverse. And it's only just begun.

Afordability: Two Trillion Dollars in just 5 years thats $2,000,000,000,000.00 (that we dont have to spend that the middle class will choak up in higher taxes)

Security for Seniors...be secure in your thinking that the Seniors will be thrown under the bus to die as soon as they have a problem to give up that Social Security Monthly Check to save the government money.

Our Children and Grandchildren will have the 'Honor' to be straddled with this huge debt their entire lives.

hey, if you actually beleive that this will not cost anything or add any debt...I have some nice marsh land in Florida that would be perfect for your moblie home.

Nancy Pelosi is an idiot.

These are all the same arguments that took place when Medicare as well as Social Security were introduced. You idiots claimed that they would sink the country, destroy freedom, blah blah blah!!

Well guess what? Health Care Reform will pass like these other programs did and there's not a damn thing you can do about it (other than whine like babies on an internet forum) so just STFU!!

Exactly. Personally, I think all Jews should go to the Holocaust Museum in DC. During the special exhibit on display (at least when I was there in August) their is a copy of a memo warning the FDR administration about Auschwitz. Low and behold...they did NOTHING until it was too late! I have a very difficult time with this since I am defending Jews and they refuse to defend what happened to them.
I'm not sure, either, why they don't. What I find interesting is that the liberals, many of them Jews, praise FDR and then, don't acknowledge other things as they blast Bush/etc for ie.

Honestly, I don't say much about the Jews for obvious reasons. But they voting in Obama, I can help but to wonder why they would.

Article 1302- The addition of the Gatekeeper. It's apparent that you aren't actually aware of the specifications of this bill, so I will let you wait to learn about this little iota. You will hear about it a whole lot in the coming days.
2 useless wars? OK. Pull the troops out. Why hasn't Obama pulled the troops out? Personally I would rather see 10,000 liberals in Connecticut die a firey death than watch one more Soldier give his life because this administartion is unfocused. It is extremely unfocused.
The rest of the World has healthcare? Why are you still here in this evil land of oppression and pestilence? Canada! Haul ass.
So your real gripe is that nobody is giving you money? Boo Hoo.
When you decide to stop looking for another handout and want to actually fix this problem, then you have a leg to stand on. Until then, you just lay there...begging. Pathetic.
Ha ha ha You are wrong again. You feel the need to label me and others that disagree with your brain washing but have NO real clue of who I am. That alone proves you are f-ing clueless and can not think for yourself. Please save your wind bag blow hard BS propaganda for others like you, that believe the lies that they have been told and can not think for themselves. How about explaining how much good these useless wars did us and why they are not a waste of life and money? Which bs politicians where all for it?
The truth is you are being led be propaganda and lies. You deny the facts and the truth and see only what you been told to see and what to believe. The sad part is you dont even see it.
I see its ok for us to pay for health care in Iraq's and Afghanistan and for terrorists we capture but not for the people of this country.
Yea lets keep spending our tax dollars on other countries but none on our own people. Let the insurance companies rip everyone off and let those that cant afford insurance just die. That's what you are defending genius. Pull your head out of the wind bag and blow hard butts and get some fresh air and look around and try to get that single brain cell to function again.

Not clueless...just a statement of truth, something not wanting to be heard by some. The Robin Hood approach will not work. Government run health care is not the answer. Citizens have responsibilities for being just that.. citizens, not subjects or occupants. The government has a responsibility to its citizens to provide equal access, but not entitlement.
I don't see anything that looks like equal access. The rich get health care, the poor and middle class get robbed.
