Just make the first as restrictive as the second, licensing, background checks, one speech per month, certain speech will be arbitrarily banned (like Fred Phelps and rev. Wright), set locations where free speech is allowed, no free speech in government buildings, no free speech in national parks, the press needs to go back to older technology and not the latest innovations, permits to assemble and you must pay for police overtime. if it's good enough for the second it's good enough for the first.

There is hope wrote: <quoted text> every one of her points are valid, who uses the most from the healthcare system? Old folks. and what is the return on investment in care for the elderly? none. assisted suicide is part of the dem healthcare scheme, who do you think will use this service? when the dems finally figure out that they can't afford this healthcare scheme, it will be too late and rationing must begin, so you get rid of the segment that won't effect your political base. the dems that support assisted suicide favor someone's right to do so ,not the govt killing them because they are too expensive.if you honestly think the dem party is going to kill part of their base it will happen right after the rep party tells evangelicals where to go.neither one is going to hppen.but to your point there is a big difference between believing in someone's choice to end their suffering and govt. doing to save money,,,virginia fox was lying through her teeth on the floor of the house when she said otherwise.show me one video clip of a dem saying "let's kill old people".

jimmy agler wrote: <quoted text>this is a scary post. no, what's scary is how the liberals have gutted the second amendment. If you can place so many restrictions on a constitutional right that it ceases to be a right that can be exercised in many parts of the country, the same can be done of any of our rights. The liberals set the standard, you cannot complain if others use the path that you have blased.

There is Hope wrote: <quoted text> if you don't like the constitution so much, move. I for one would like to see restrictions on the first amendment. Where do you see in this amendment that there is a right to own an assault weapon? 2nd Amendment A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed. And what part of the first amendment do you not like? Maybe the part that allows teabaggers to assemble? Or the part that allows birthers to make false accusations? 1st Amendment Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

Heathcare on the other hand is nowhere in the constitution and shouldn't be, it's my choice if I want healthcare or not, not the government. what do you lefties say "my body, my choice"! Then when you need care but have no money and no insurance, my rates hould not go up to pay for your care! That is why car insurance is mandatory, silly boy, don't you know anything?
