Nice to see that reefer madness is alive and well across the pond as well. I'd like to know how their tests are performed that they can come up with the "fact" thatone joint equals 20 cigs. If they are so worried about health (as in the U.S.) then how about promoting the use of vaporizors?
really?

Well you have to know that inhaling any burning fiber is not natural no matter that "god" made it.

There has to be an associate cost to smoking anything. I don't care about tobacco or cannabis but to talk about "harmless" in any smoking context is inaccurate.

You make choices. The sad thing is we will not really know long term affect until it has been legalized. All we have are stories.

Legalize? Why not? Safe? Of course not but who really cares...

The only thing that is supposed to go into one's lungs is oxygen.

Edible pot would be fine. Make plenty of those brownies. It'll still damage your body.

I made the comment that nature intended the human body to just inhale oxygen and nothing else. What's there to disagree about with THAT?

If a person wants to do something bad enough (smoke cigarettes or pot) they will automatically come up with reasons of their own and
in their own minds okay the habit, not finding anything wrong. The only thing the human body is supposed to inhale is oxygen. Everything else is harmful.

How does edible damage your body?
I can see how the smoke may bring discomfort to some and how it is not natural to inhale smoke. Vaporization is not smoke and does not carry any of the negative effects that may result from smoking. Any damage that may be caused from the responsible use of cannabis is finite and not a valid reason to prohibit it. After all, if you base a prohibition on what is supposed to go in your body, you'd have to ban not only alcohol but most of the food available for consumption.

I understand what you're saying about other bad things that people consume but the topic is cannabis. There are still toxins in cannabis even if it's not smoked. And I didn't make the laws, so there you have it.

OK, I'm interested, what toxins (not as a result of combustion)do you refer to?

No. Grass in food does not damage your body. That is false.

And oxygen is not the only thing we are "intended" to inhale.

Nitrogen is #1
