"...medical premiums". Addtional Medical Premimums are more than covered by high cigaretter taxes and the fact that smokers die on average 8 years sooner than non smokers and cost the state less for long term case, and are less of a drain on Social Secuirty and other benefit programs "You whine and wheeze about smokers rights and die gasping for air" Statistics say the number one cause of death is cardio vascular disease and second cancer(all forms), both of which can you can get without having smoked a single cigarette in your life. Are those better ways to go? that doesnt matter though I'm sure. It's enough to ban smoking just because smokers just smell so icky, right?

I have just purchesed an e cigarette and I think they are a very good Idear for those that have been smoking for a long time. If there as been no scientific studies on the e cigarettes then why are they selling them, in this case its not the cigarettes that need testing its the people that alow it to come on the market before the tests have been done. still think its a great idear, it can,t be any more dangerous than smoking real cigs

Well I know for a fact that there has be a dozen different studies done and there is proof that E-Cigarettes are much better the regular cigarettes. The Media is just making them sound like there bad news which in actuality there not. I see these stories as funny!!!

I have tried it and it works. I have been using it since January 2009. I love the idea that I can smoke in the car and not smell like a cigarette. I haven't tried it in any establishment yet. I would recommend this to any person who smokes and want an easy way to quite. The only thing is, is that my extra atomizer broke. I did what I was asked to do but never received a replacement. It's been since March and I have tried countless times to contact them with no results. It works great and I have had not side effects. The switch over was very smooth from a real cigarette to the E cigarette.

Dana has failed to mention or include comments and information that was provided to her before this story was published. Of course, not smoking at all is the best advice for anyone, however, traditional tobacco cigarettes have been studied for years and every smoker knows the dangers and risks but they still do it. Electronic cigarettes provide a cleaner alternative. Yes, nicotine is addictive, and is in electronic cigarettes but it is in regular cigarettes too along with all the carcinogens and tar. Funny that shop on N High still sells cancer causing tobacco products but is waiting for the FDA to approve electronic cigarettes before they sell them.. People have no common sense!

I've read that you are not even able to purchase the E cig in Canada, at least with nicotine in the cartridges. We used to escape to Canada for a little freedom...what's going on up there????

As a life long non-smoker this is almost too much to dream. I must say that I have had many more non-smoking employees that were worthless. My smoking employees seem to run circles around the non-smokers!

No wonder that BA or BS candidates have that attitude. Just because Stanton Glantz has never had to work for a living is no reason to set your sights on the mediocrity of society's most famous leeches. That being said. The Beatles had talent. Stanton Glantz's "Chicken Dance/Marcarena" brigade would do well with a 5/4 waltz for two left feet. Antis have no soul, sense of timing, etc.. They make lots of money for for the authors of books that talk of premature ejaculation past the age of 17. Help the needy.

It is on your clothes, your skin, your breath. It is in your hair, your home, your kids, your car, your work area and on your work. As if that wasn't bad enough you take smoke breaks throughout the day while non-smokers are left to cover for you. How about taking a work break instead? You litter the ground, pollute the air and cost us money in the form of increased medical premiums. You burn yourselves and others up by falling asleep while smoking. You whine and wheeze about smokers rights and die gasping for air. Actually, the stench of a a smoker, isn't half as bad as the hatred that you exhibit. By the way, not all smokers take breaks every hour. Not all smokers are guilty of most of your attack.

I have been 1 pack a day for the last 15 years. Two months ago, I bought BLU-SMOKES off the internet. They aren't quite as strong as I hoped, but they have dramaticly reduced my dependance on regular smokes. 1 pack of regular smokes last me about 4 to 5 days now. And I also noticed a decrease in the amount of cartridges I use in my e-smoke. I estimate at this rate I will be done with smoking in the next 2 months.
