I have excessive head sweating. Even with a headband I have sweat running down my face and into my eyes. Is it more than just an inconvenience??

I have had excessive sweating for awhile now and I looked it up on the net to see if it could be a sympton of a disease. The formal name is called hyperhydrosis and they had plenty of herbal remedies and some really invasive stuff like botox. Well, I was deperate. You can imagine being a woman and sweating all the time I tried to talk to someone or got in a stessful situation. I tried the tea. It's called Steeping Herbal, Hushed Sea. I'm sure if you just look it up, you'll find it and it really does work. And for me to say that, is something. I drink a hot glassw/2 tea bags and sugar, and milk. And, I don't seem to sweat like that for about 2 days. It's a little expensive, but, again, oh, so worth it to me. It took the most embarrassing part out of my life. Thanx, Laurablueeyes

Penny, I read your comment and felt so bad for you. I know the feeling. If the tea doesn't help you, I would talk to a doctor and sometimes taking certain medicines will make you sweat real bad or lack there of. I hope you get to the root of your problem. Good Luck! Laura

Judged: 1 It's been about a month now and I can honestly say that I hardly ever break out in a sweat all over anymore. And when I do, I have a glass and it goes away. I'm talking sweat from anxiety and it was the most embarrassing part of my life. I am a widow and found it so hard to talk to men because I would sweat everytime, I'm talking pouring and dripping down my face sweat and under my breasts and my back. It was horrible and I am not getting paid or anything to talk about this. If I can help one person from that humility, then I feel I am doing something good by passing it on. Laura |

Are there any side effects to taking the tea?

Are there any side effects from taking the tea? I was concerned about the St. John's Wort in it.

Thank you for your suggestion Laura, I will certainly try that tea. I am handicapped with my back problem so I'm quite weak and I sweat even going downstairs so I thought it might just be me. I was puzzled about my night sweats as I'm 80 this year and a little too old for that kind of night sweats. Eva

I am a sophomore in high school and palmar hiperhidrosis... I can't do any thing, I can't even take a test or hold hands bc my hands sweat so much to the point of dripping. I'm afraid that I won't be able to get a job either since I have to shake hands with my employer... I haven't had a boyfriend yet..I really hope that that tea will help!! right now I am trying the electric treatment, but it hurts most of the time and leaves my hands itchy.. Thank you for suggesting the tea Laurablueeyes, I will thank you even more if it works!! Wish me luck!:)

Hi to all of U. I just what to tell you guys that this tea kindof work. Mind you I dont work for this company. I'm just here to simply tell the truth.I first noticed my excessive sweat back when I was probably 14yrs(26yrs now). This sweating has been controlling my life since that early age. I went to see couple of doctors but they didn't give me any hope besides suggesting going under the knife( One actually made fun of me). Couple to days ago I decide to research more about my condition and thats when I found out that alot of people have the same problem as me. I was kind of happy about it because I knew then that I kind find answers to my problem. I saw a couple of products but I decided to try the hushed sea tea. Guys, I recieved my order 2days ago for $34 (60 bags).Oh my God is so worth it. Since I started taking it 2X a day. I haven't seen a sweat on my face besides when I'm working out. However I still have a little bit of sweaty palms once in a while but trust me it way better than having sweaty face and forearms trying to talk to people. I believe if I continue to drink this sea, I will get raid of the sweaty palm as well. I'm sorry that my message is too long but you guys should know that I'm too happy thats why. You should definitely try this tea out. I wish you really know how I'm feeling. TRY IT OUT. Thanks to whoever discovered Hushed sea tea.

I'm so intrigued with this tea. Does anyone know why it works so well? And, does anyone know what it's relationship is to managing stress? Or, are they separate issues?

Hello Laura, it is now June 2010 and I was just wondering if you are still drinking the tea, or if you stopped and the sweating has still stopped. This would be the best thing in all the land if it would work for me...Lynn |

My son has hyperydrosis - from the time he was 8 years old his hands would DRIP with sweat - he had a hard time writing, playing video games, and he wouldn't shake anyone's hands because was so embarrassed. I felt so awful for him, and as a parent you just want to do anything to make your child better. When he was 12 we saw a doctor and ended up doing the surgery. He was in the hospital overnight and came home the next day. A week later he was back to playing football. The surgery worked - they burned the nerves that caused his hands to sweat. It was amazing and I saw such a dramatic change in his confidence and attitude. He is now 16 and is complaining about excessive sweating on his back and legs. They say that although the surgery helps with the hand sweat, it will move to other areas. He found this tea online and wanted to try it. I was a little concerned about any side affects but I don't see where anyone has written anything negative about this tea (other than price). However if it helps my son then I have no problem paying it. I've seen some positive comments here so I think we will give it a try.

Oh my....I think I may have to order. I just had botex injections to my hands on Tuesday. So far, my hands are still sweating. The doctor indicated that it would take a week too see results. However, the pain that I endured it should have been instantly. I haven't had a chance to find a doctor to conduct the botox to my foot. I may have to order. what site did you order from? I have been dealing with this all my life and I'm almost turning 30 |

Hi, I have hyperhidrosis- I have suffered of excessive sweating of palms and feet all my life. It's brutal. I purchased the electric machine 6 years ago but this treatment takes time and it made my hands and feet itchy and irritated my skin between my toes and fingers. I just had a doctor's appointment today and she recommeded a Oral medication glycopyrrolate but one the side affects is blurry vision so I'm connerned of course. So I'm thinking of trying the Hushed Sea -Hyperhidrosis Herbal Tea. I'm just currious on what the side effects are?
