savage is the only one in radio that has the *alls to tell it like it is! I applaud him that....did any of you bozo's even hear the entire show? He was only talking about the misdiagnosed kids...no the real kids who are affected by Autism.

if you actually know anything about Savage, he loves children and wants the best. he was just trying to warn us about the evil drug companies and people who want to exploit your children. i have read most of his books and i don't consider myself a conservative of a liberal, just an open minded individual you does his own research.

I was in fact listening when he made the comments. I suspect that you weren't, and that you are choosing to use someone else's interpretation. The glory is in the truth, not in the messenger, and if you listen to MS, really listen to what he is saying, you will find a lot of truth, as long as you are not completely blinded by what the "money" in this country is telling you.

As a matter of fact, I was listening when he made that famous comment. There was not a shred of truth going on at that time. A rat doesn't jump out of the sewer and repressent the "glorious" truth. A rat is a rat and Mike Savage is a rat, any way you look at him.

If there is no certain physical cause of autism, exactly what does risperdal do to help the condition? Also, World book Encyclopedia says that 1 in 30,000 people have autism. Why has the autism rate increased so much? Sounds like a scam to me.If y our kid doesn't act like Dustin Hoffman in "The Rainman" I would be skeptical.

Try again... there in only one drug of choice for autism - Risperdal, so there is little incentive there. As far "fakers" for benefits, again they need to find a better diagnosis. In many states, including mine, most of my son's care and therapies are uncovered and paid for out of pocket. Waiting lists for things like respite care are years long.
Even in trying to justify himself, he can't seem to be truthful.

You want to kill unborn babies because they are inconvenient, yet fight for the lives of rapist and murderers.
Also, the only qualification I know of for saving an unborn is its beating heart.
So there you have it I'm a hypocrite for wanting a baby to have a chance at life. Where you want a piece of garbage who has ruined theirs and the others he/she has victimized to have more rights than the innocent.

Liberals cannot make it in talk radio so they want to try to remove the competition rather than continue to try to compete. They will even go against free speech if it serves their cause. The only one that has kind of made it is Ed Schultz and he has because he used to be a conservative and became a liberal just for the money. He still is a gun carrying, hunting and fishing guy and that's one of the reasons he has listeners, he's not a wishy washy wimp.

A school district doesn't try to get a parent to say a child is autistic. A parent is not the one to do the diagnosis. The school district may have wanted the parents to agree to a certain type of educational path but that is clearly different than the district try to persuade the parents to say he was autistic.

What's the point of your post. Anecdotally one child was misdiagnosed.

Believe me, school districts do not make money on children out of the mainstream. I was on my local School Board for years. Even with some funds from the federal government it cost the district thousands and thousands of extra dollars to attempt to educate autistic kids. Some were educable and some were not.
