Being socially progressive doesn't mean having to pick some of the Bill of Rights to hold dear and throw the rest out. The President and I don't see eye to eye on everything, but in most cases in a Free country a fact of life. John Ashcroft worried me a heck of a lot more than Eric Holder.
MOST people don't live in the extremes, but they live in the same world none-the-less.
The type of hatred you seem to have in your heart however is the type of ugliness that has no place in this world and in public discourse in general.
I sincerely wish you well, and so long as people with your type of temperament on all sides of the spectrum never ever get to touch a firearm in your lifetime, well now that would be a good thing indeed. Just in case the world isn't that kind perfect place we all want it to be, I'll hang on to mine (guns that is, and again thanks for your concern).
