And anyway, why are >YOU< seemingly in support of jackarse412? Are >YOU< ANTI-LIBERTY TOO? I believe in reincarnation after reading your posts. I see an 18th Century American patriot standing in the town centre with a horse whip and using as a pointer as well as making the motions with it like a conducter to illustrate your point. Guns are here to stay in our country. They're ingrained in our culture, our belief system of freedoms and they have proved to be more beneficial than harmful. You'll have a continual stream of opposition because they can see one side of the coin as we all do but anti-gun activists never seem to flip the coin over to understand the value of such a tool. Like I said before things like barbeques would be made illegal for the same reasoning these people use against guns.'Twenty three persent of domestic fires are caused by barbeque use as well as 19 percent of in house burns to victims of this evil device not to mention finger and hand injuries caused by the inproper closing of the lid. Barbeques most often use hazardous chemicals and extremely dangerous flammable substances in order to operate such as lighter fluid which is 34% more flammable than gas and propane which can explode causing serious injury and even death. Ban barbeques! They're even painted black because of their evil nature. Ben them!!!' Guns are a tool. Treat them like one, with respect.

You don't agree with those in favor of gun ownership but you summed up your response in 4 posts. Now you just stick your head in to be combative apparently. With you it's a personality thing now and not a productive arguement or discussion. You don't like those that support gun rights and since you could go no further you're finding yourself slashing tires at this point. Right on. Too bad the law states we are allowed firearms. After months of spitting your nonsense in here guess what....you STILL lose. LOL!!! So when did ya get out of the slammer?

Thats the point, if it was me getting hurt (though i heard this guy got attacked in his sleep so i dont think it would have helped having a gun), but if i was attack and had a gun of course id start firing it off, and that would undoubtly result in others getting hurt. Highlander wrote: <quoted text> That's sorta wishy-washy, isn't it? 'Other people might have gotten hurt.' Conversely: Other people might NOT have gotten hurt. If it were >YOU< who was getting attacked, would >YOU< have stopped to think: Gee, what if other's get hurt? Would the knife wielding idiot have afforded you the time to 'stop and consider' your actions?

No it isn't. but it depends on a lot of factors regarding arming other people, like the caliber of the gun, his skills with hit, his self control at the time. All i see is people attacking the literal statement rather then suggest, erri dunno, metal detectos before getting on the bus? Think outside of the statements, Watchdog wrote: <quoted text> So, its ok the victim died, just as long as there was no threat to the other passengers??? How bad a shot would he have had to be to miss someone trying to stab him in a bus seat?

we need more guns ---------- FEMALE INTERVIEWER: So, General Cosgrove, what things are you going to teach these young boys when they visit your base? GENERAL COSGROVE: We're going to teach them climbing, canoeing, archery and shooting. ? FEMALE INTERVIEWER:? Shooting! That's a bit irresponsible, isn't it? GENERAL COSGROVE: I don't see why, they'll be properly supervised on the rifle range. FEMALE INTERVIEWER: Don't you admit that this is a terribly dangerous activity to be teaching children? GENERAL COSGROVE: I don't see how. We will be teaching them proper rifle discipline before they even touch a firearm. ? FEMALE INTERVIEWER: But you're equipping them to become violent killers. GENERAL COSGROVE: Well, Ma'am, you're equipped to be a prostitute, but you're not one, are you? The radio went silent and the interview ended.
