You are making my point. You can't be. Just as LEO's cannot protect the citizen 24/7.(Even if they were bound by law to do so-which as I understand it they are not) That is why it is neccessary to protect one's self.(Including in church and at schools.

That is nonsense. Are you going to put a pistol in your pocket holster and go observe his murder trial. You and I both know guns will never be allowed in such places as these.

If you are keeping up with the news, you will see that he was armed with over seventy rounds, shot only three, and was subdues by law abiding citizens. They did not need a firearm.

And, though it is early in the case, yet keeping to the events in Tennesee as they unfold, wasn't this guy a hater of 'liberals'? Well known and well liked by neighbors he has had for years?

Are you, by any chance, aware of whether not he had a license to carry that shotgun concealed in a guitar case, which in his first attempt at entry, claimed he had brought in order to play music for the children of the congregation?

That is a concealed weapon, right?

In Tennessee, it's NOT illegal to have a gun in church, as long as the pastor agrees.

As a result, 5 of the members of our church DO carry our firearms to services. Our church is about 5 miles away from where this tragedy happened.

As I stated earlier, my church is only 5 miles from the church that suffered this great tragedy.

I also stated that 5 members of our church, myself included carry our firearms concealed to services, with the pastor's permission.

I state that if this lowlife had chosen our church, the outcome would have been very different.

How's that for debate fodder?
