*** The Firearms Community Must Learn To Vote With Their Wallets *** I received this information from a New Jersey Second Amendment Society member: Bank of America prefers not to do business with Firearms related manufacturers!!! McMillan Fiberglass Stocks, McMillan Firearms Manufacturing and McMillan Group International have been collectively banking with Bank of America for 12 years. Today Mr. Ray Fox, Senior Vice President, Market Manager, Business Banking, Global Commercial Banking came to my office. He scheduled the meeting as an “account analysis” meeting in order to evaluate the two lines of credit we have with them. He spent 5 minutes talking about how McMillan has changed in the last 5 years and have become more of a firearms manufacturer than a supplier of accessories. At this point I interrupted him and asked “Can I possible save you some time so that you don’t waste your breath? What you are going to tell me is that because we are in the firearms manufacturing business you no longer what my business.” “That is correct” he says. I replied “That is okay, we will move our accounts as soon as possible. We can find a 2nd Amendment friendly bank that will be glad to have our business. You won’t mind if I tell the NRA, SCI and everyone one I know that BofA is not firearms industry friendly?” “You have to do what you must” he said. “So you are telling me this is a politically motivated decision, is that right?” Mr Fox confirmed that it was. At which point I told him that the meeting was over and there was nothing let for him to say. I think it is import for all Americans who believe in and support our 2nd amendment right to keep and bear arms should know when a business does not support these rights. What you do with that knowledge is up to you. When I don’t agree with a business’ political position I can not in good conscience support them. We will soon no longer be accepting Bank of America credit cards as payment for our products. Kelly D McMillan Director of Operations McMillan Group International, LLC

Every gun owner should call Bank of America and tie up their phone lines demanding an explination. Has anyone read anything from the NRA on this?

Where Is My America wrote: There is an answer from B OF A. Google NRA Bank of America. "Over the past few months, NRA-ILA received information from a few members detailing some problems that firearm-related businesses were having with Bank of America (BoA). It appeared that BoA had adopted a policy of denying banking services to businesses associated with firearms. ILA staff contacted BoA corporate leadership and asked them to provide specific information regarding their policies. In a conversation with Douglas K. Bland, a BoA Senior Vice President, NRA-ILA was assured that there was no such anti-gun policy. Mr. Bland provided NRA-ILA with a written statement of their policy, which states "Bank of America does not have a corporate-wide policy to deny banking services solely on the applicant's involvement in the firearms industry." NRA-ILA is pleased with this statement, but will continue to monitor business activities to ensure that gun owners and gun related business receive fair treatment. If you have had issues with Bank of America, please contact NRA-ILA so additional follow-up can be done. If needed, Mr. Bland has indicated his desire to assist with claims of unfair denial of services for firearms related reasons."

Does not have a corporate wide policy but never denied each or all individual offices could have a policy in place.

Why are you imitating antigun Snow Bunny ? Gun owners are a minority in Illinois (for example). Police here can harass any person they want... cops have thousands of cop-collaborators (traitors like you who will do anything the cops tell you to do to me).

I have to admit that I don't have personal knowledge of this incident.(I'd LOVE to have an in with the McMillans! LOL) But one I DO know of is a friend here in myt area who opened a gun shop about 3 years ago, and paid HELL trying to find a company that would allow him to accept credit cards for firearms purchases. He was finally able to find a company only because he got some advice from another gunshop owner to list his store as "sporting goods" rather than gun shop. it's unbelievable that people who are supposedly so educated can be so ignorant at the same time.

WHEREVER you buy a gun (in retail stores) always assume the seller (aka the store employee) is a off-duty cop or a retired cop. They keep tabs on many gun buyers. Wink, wink. IMO, Cabelas has a handful of cops selling guns behind their gun cabinets.

And I wouldn't waste ANY time on you. You simply aren't worth that much effort.(and I don't talk to the police, well except to report the vandalism on my house (2 years ago) by the son of a local cop. And yes, he did make full restitution new window and full garage door assembly). Because if not, his kid would have been arrested for vandalism. You see, Noid. Cops don't frighten me like they OBVIOUSLY scare the living shit out of you.)

Mr. Gacy, if you want to defend cops from me why don't you start your own topic rather than use this one which exposes cops and Bank of Amerika's cop-collaborators ? Your goal is always to defend cops first and then pretend to be an advocate of gun rights. Are you employed selling guns to unsuspecting buyers ? How many cops do you know ? Try to be honest.

Exactly how am I defending cops? Why is it that EVERY time I ask you for any king of proof for your outlandish claims, you clam up, throw out a totally unfounded insult and change the subject? Why is it that you can NEVER answer a simple fucking question, Noid? Could it be that you would expose yourself for the lying, paranoid, P.O.S. that you actually are? Just maybe?

And to answer YOUR questions...no I do not sell firearms, and I know about half a dozen cops. I don't talk to any of them on a regular basis. And like I told you already, I haven't talked to any on a professional basis since my house was vandalized. (see how easy this is)

Why does it have to be either or? Most cops I know are HUGE 2nd amendment advocates, because they know it makes their job easier.

Bill Vincent wrote: Funny-- not a ONE of the cops I go shooting with are anti gun at all. I had one borrow one of my new guns last weekend. He said he was interested in having one in his own personal collection but wanted to try one before dropping that much cash. I have gone to the range several times and met cops there who wanted to try some of my guns because most of them can't afford some of the guns I buy due to their low salary. They are glad I can have them because that's the only way they could ever have a chance to handle some of these.
