NATO's position on FYROM unchanged, Greek FM says
Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) will only be able to join NATO after the name dispute with Greece has been resolved, caretaker Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis said on Monday. Molyviatis, who is attending the summit of the military alliance in Chicago, on Monday alleged that backstage diplomatic maneuvers to reverse the decision made at NATO's 2008 summit in Bucharest -- which effectively kept the door shut on the small Balkan nation -- have failed. Athens and Skopje remain locked in a lengthy dispute over the country's name. Greece says the name “Macedonia” implies a territorial claim on its northern province -- also called Macedonia. http://www.ekathimerini.com/4dcgi/_w_articles... |

Judged: 2 2 1 These nationalities are actually peaceloving nations and I have no doubt that they would support RoM's bid for NATO membership. The majority of these peoples - and especially the Kurds who live in peace with members of other religious groups - would support anything that would prevent radical Islamism from growing. I can't imagine a Kurd approving the lakeside murders. |

Judged: 1 1 1 Your Aleksandar is the Yugoslav king Aleksandar of the Serbs, Croats, and Slovens!! Not Alexander the Great! Skopians are not heritage of ALEXANDER the GREAT! http://www.daggarjon.com/Coin%20Pics/Yugoslav... Makedonija is the Greek name Makedonia in Serbocroatian! It is not Skopian name! You can not make an ethnicity from a Translations-name . Only Fakedonskis! |

Judged: 2 2 1 Alexander the Great wasn't gay, bro;) Just cause he had a strong relationship with a friend that he grew up with doesn't mean he's gay. That's just another one of your country's propaganda to make us look bad. No ancient Greek was a homo. Even Sypho who was made to lool like a Lesbian is not even one, and you can easily tell that just by studying a bit about her. |

Judged: 2 2 2 you'll say anything when the grapes are sour. The point is Aleksandar of Makedon was Macedonian, which does not include Greece who's name, country and identity was invented in 1830. |
