Why, do each of the 82 million get a vote on who gets into NATO?

NATO's position on FYROM unchanged, Greek FM says

Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia (FYROM) will only be able to join NATO after the name dispute with Greece has been resolved, caretaker Foreign Minister Petros Molyviatis said on Monday.

Molyviatis, who is attending the summit of the military alliance in Chicago, on Monday alleged that backstage diplomatic maneuvers to reverse the decision made at NATO's 2008 summit in Bucharest -- which effectively kept the door shut on the small Balkan nation -- have failed.

Athens and Skopje remain locked in a lengthy dispute over the country's name. Greece says the name “Macedonia” implies a territorial claim on its northern province -- also called Macedonia.

well now we know that we have 82 million policemen in the area. Till now we knew that only Turkish Government was the policeman in the area. Of course how your population became so many millions through out your short history is something you should give some thought.

These nationalities are actually peaceloving nations and I have no doubt that they would support RoM's bid for NATO membership.

The majority of these peoples - and especially the Kurds who live in peace with members of other religious groups - would support anything that would prevent radical Islamism from growing.

I can't imagine a Kurd approving the lakeside murders.

Turkey would veto any of these minorities if they were to become independent and name their country "Republic of Ottoman" or "Republic of Seljuk" or "Republic of Galatia" or "Republic of Antalya" or "Republic of Canakkale".

Alexander the Great wasn't gay, bro;) Just cause he had a strong relationship with a friend that he grew up with doesn't mean he's gay. That's just another one of your country's propaganda to make us look bad. No ancient Greek was a homo. Even Sypho who was made to lool like a Lesbian is not even one, and you can easily tell that just by studying a bit about her.

you'll say anything when the grapes are sour.

The point is Aleksandar of Makedon was Macedonian, which does not include Greece who's name, country and identity was invented in 1830.

Daily Horoscope for May 21

Aquarius

There simply aren't enough hours in the day today for you to do everything that's on your list, so concentrate on the priorities. Don't feel guilty about what's been left out and start to worry about it. This isn't an easy day because you're feeling pressured and anxious, so don't expect too much from yourself. There's less energy than usual, which doesn't help.
