We Macedonians will not accept any new name on a referendum.
First Greeks must recognize Macedonian ethnic group, Macedonian language, Macedonian historic continiuty and origin, and give back the homes to Aegean Macedonians in Aegean Macedonia took after the ethnic cleansing in 1948.
We were enough cooperative when we changed the country flag and accept the FYROM prefix in UN.
Enough is enough.

If a referendum is to be held on your ethnic name that should be held in all subregions of modern Macedonia. The ethnic name you reserve for yourselves right now belongs to all peoples in Macedonia regardless of ethnicity, race, religion, subregion of Macedonia and language.
Remember that the Skopje regime is using the terms associated to Macedonia without any consent from the 80% majority of modern Macedonians.

Greeks knew and recognized Macedonians since the times of Herodotus and beyond. They have always been Greeks.

Macedonian is whoever is proud of that campaign that Macedonians did to spread Greek Language and Civilization to the World, right?

It was by hazard we have been called Greeks. We use to have many ethnic names during our long History. We are proud of all of them and we will not allow any non-Greek people monopolizing them.

Ethnic Macedonian = proud Macedonian = proud of that campaign that Macedonians did to spread Greek Language and Civilization to the world = Greek of Macedonia.

That country flag had the sun of Vergina on it, a symbol from greek macedonia.
And you didn't accept FYROM because of good will, you were forced to accept it because of the trade embargo that Greece imposed on your country as an answer to your abuses.

I tell you what. As long as Skopje persists to discriminatingly apply the term Macedonian exclusively to the Slav Makedonci nothing will happen. The reason is that terms like Macedonian homes in Greece means a home, a building in the region of Macedonia. U c Macedonia is a region and therefore the Macedonian id is regional.

There are 2.5 million Greeks in greek macedonia and 100000 Greeks in FYROM.

The flag of Kuklish (now called Vergina) was a symbol of Macedonian Kingdom not of Greek Macedonia.
You cannot attach all symbols found on occupied territories to your culture and identity.
It's not Greek but Aegean Macedonia which is occupied by Greece.
We Macedonians trace the origin from Ancient Macedon and therefore we have the right of all that symbols.
And still we don't give up of anything ours.
Example: Flag of the Macedonian dominated district of Pustec.
This is from the region of Mala Prespa and Golo Brdo - Macedonian parts occupied by Albania.

Yes there are Greeks NOT Macedonians in Aegean "Greek" Macedonia.
