Lesbos islanders sue Greek gay group

Three people from the Greek island of Lesbos have told a court that gay women are insulting the island's identity when they refer to themselves as lesbians.

The case of who has the right and who does not to use the adjective "lesbian" for themselves is a good show-case of how legislation on human and minorities rights ought to serve in crystal clear ways truly justifiable causes.
Homosexual women cannot really deny the men and women of the isle of Lesbos to be able to use their toponyme in a free and not sexually "charged" way.
