Lorena is a standard above someone like Tiger. Her humblenes, kindness and the way she treats all on the course is something that Mr Woods seriously needs to look at. He treats all with disdain on the course whil eshe treats them to smiles and genuine appreciation. Wow, what a refreshing attitude!

Obviously, sports reporters have never been great athletes or great writers. Sorry, nothing personal but, this article is good for a high school newspaper. Tiger obviously has the best chance to win the grand slam by far. Ask 100 TOP pros if they would take second in any major and not play it. 90% would take it. I love Lorena, I am also from Mexico and she is playing great I love it. She can win all for of her majors this year, I woould love. She loves to be compared to Tiger. But to win the so called Grand Slam you have to win the Masters first (hello McFly) and neither did. Also it is ridiculous to say she has no competition. You forgot Suzanne Peterson who won 5 tourneys and a major. Annika, Natalie, Paula, Morgan and many others are serious competition. What are "quiet" sign holders? Caddies? I wish you guys would just write more stories told to you by old timers or old facts or history. We are not really that much interested in same boring stories by all writers and their opinions. I think Tiger is going to say less and less to you guys. I like to hear him TALK, not answer questions.

I think you must be high or something. He doesn't treat anybody like anything on the course - he is in his own world only worrying about himself. So Ochoa smiles - so what? She can be compared to Tiger if she keeps up her current pace for another 5 years - it is way too soon for that comparison. And it may never be a comparison unless she drives TV ratings and the games popularity like Tiger - a tall order for an LPGA player. When the purses at LPGA events are even half of what the PGA Tour's are, then you can start talking - that is the purest test of how popular the sport is.

Lorena Ochoa seems to be a very nice young lady and deserves all the goodies from being the LPGA number one player; however, she,
as well as the other women on the LPGA tour are boring!!!

I think it reasonable to shower accolades on Lorena for her accomplishments to date on the LPGA, however to compare her to Tiger and what he has done and is doing for the game is not justified. As I have said before only Tiger can beat Tiger, but now I may have to add to that statement, only Tiger's knee can beat Tiger. I know people that don't play golf or didn't even care about the game of golf that now watch golf because of Tiger. I do wish, however he could find it within himself to control his tongue when he hits that occassional errant shot.

To dismiss one of (if not the) greatest female golfers of all time and to say Annika is done is both naive and idiotic. I believe that although Ochoa is playing some great golf Annika's drive will put her back in the winners circle soon enough & dont be surprised if its a major.

Lorena may be a great golfer, but her personality is as exiciting as watching paint dry....If mexico is so great whey doesnt she just play in their golf tournaments and stop taking our tainted American money on the LPGA.....
