Ernie Els has momentum on his side right now. Not that he really needs it. In 1997 he missed two cuts in a row, the next week he won the U.S. Open at Congressional. No, if Ernie is to hold up at the Masters, it will be because of his short game which is leaps and bounds better than it has been in years, especially his putting, back in the crouch that served him well for many years. The biggest thing that concerns me is that Ernie wants the Masters so badly that it will almost assuredly work against him. He puts so much on his own shoulders, and at Augusta it will only get worse. I would like to see him take things more in stride and stop thinking so damn much. Ernie can do it, he knows he can. The only cool green jacket in the world is within his grasp, and I for one would like to see him demolish everyone to get it. I would like nothing better than him being paired with Tiger in the final round, and see the South African Lion put the spikes to Tiger's throat and not let go. Time to get this off your back Ernie, lets go!

I don't think Els will win. He will just pressure himself out of contention. Also, I don't think Tiger will win either. The pressure from his personal life plus one of the 'bimbos' he slept with is going to attend the Masters which will have looking over his shoulder all day looking out for her ans what she might plan to do. I hope the Masters people keep her away just to maintain some sort of crowd control both for Tiger and his group as well as other groups on the course. The Masters might end up being a circus instaed of a Golf tournament.

I hear that tickets to the Masters are harder to come by than Hen's teeth. Wonder where she got hers?

Good question. I hope they find out and then cancel that person's tickets for good. There is no way that I would believe that this 'bimbo' is a golf fan. And, why do these 'bimbos', at least some of them, think Tiger should apologize to them??? I mean, they had to know he was married.
