The locals normally fold and lose in competition with the real talent from the mainland but Tadd gets credit for doing more than Wie ever did.

He made $30,000 dollars for 4-days of work. Not bad for a 16-year old kid. Sure beats working at Jamba Juice.
As for Wie, she's a multi-millionaire who is getting a Stanford education. Again, not bad for a 19-year old. Sure beats going to UH and having to work part-time at Safeway just so you can afford your books.
