It's just you. The world's most famous athlete is competing this week in the state of Minnesota. I'm guessing he might get a mention or two.

Charley, you wrote: Said McIlroy, who has been alive for only 20 years.
Can't you just say that he's 20 years old? Are you trying to fit as many words in your pointless articles as possible so the Pioneer Press keeps paying you?

"Although the official PGA Championship vehicle is Mercedes-Benz, Woods is being transported in a Buick SUV as part of his endorsement with the car company."

Uh, wrong again there Charley. Tiger's endorsement deal with Buick ended 12/31/08. Of course, it would have taken Charley 30 seconds to to to Tigers website to view a complete list of his sponsors and another 30 seconds to google the press release from Buick. Sheesh.

Tim Laudner's team won John Gordon's "Touch 'Em All" fundraiser golf tournament Monday at Brackett's Crossing. Twins catcher Joe Mauer's team consisted of brother Billy and parents Teresa and Jake.

you're all fools and I am right. Charlie Walters deserves an emmy. As far as I'm concerned he does not mention Joe Mauer enough. If he wrote exclusively about Tiger Woods I would not get bored.

You are obviously easily entertained. Woods bores me now-it is too bad another Nicklaus or Palmer isnt available -now that would be fun.

Yes. This is a big deal (PGA) but there is a golf tournament every weekend. It is not like this is the Final Four or SuperBowl or World Series or Stanley Cup. It is 4 days that are duplicated 35 times each year. Let us not lose our perspective.

Why is Glen Taylor offering him a severance? I wish I could be incompetent for 14 years and then have a boss who treats me with kid gloves... Taylor is clueless and pathetic.
