"Instead, it's a tale of a golf tournament closer than anyone could have imagined."

Jesus! The crybaby has lost Majors before. He is NOT unbeatable. I really hope the win here isn't marred by Tigers win!

Sounds like you should not watch the PGA then, just because "Tiger" lost today, doesn't mean you won't see him doing his very best at every golf tournament he enters and be near of at the top of the leader board...whether you believe it or not, golf was not that big of deal until he came along.....
Thanks Patrick

When Reusse said the tournament was over after Friday's round, I knew Tiger would lose (i.e. Reusse is always wrong). In Vegas they call it the "Reusse Ricochet" and is considered as close as you get to a sure thing.

Doesn't matter if you watch the PGA or not, you are forced to listen about him. How about hearing more of a background on Yang or the others in contention. I agree he is incredibly talented... but give it a f'ng rest! Brett Favre=Tiger Woods.

hey yang... his 2nd shot on 18 was great. the boys in the booth did not give him any credit. if Tiger hits that shot to win the tourney, it would have gone done as one of the best shots ever. YE played good. Tiger let it slip with his putting.

So after 7 long days of the PP bowing to Tiger.- Tiger pages, Tiger stories, Tiger quotes - and ignoring the rest of the field Tiger falls short. He is definitely the best in the world at this time, but even Babe Ruth struck out many times. So now, are you going to send a Korean speaking reporter to get an interview with YE Yang, or get the scoop from Tiger? Congratulations to ALL the players who made the PGA Championship.

A huge ovation to Mr. Yang. This is definitely a story for the golf history books. And I'm not Just Sayin that because I picked him as a member of my golf pool team. This guy can flat out play. We followed him for awhile on Thursday (I wish I could've been there everyday), and he was just hitting his shots crisp. I mean, flush baby flush. Welcome, Y.E., to the majors club!

Great upset! Y.E. Yang was born on the island of Jeju-do in 1972 the same year I took a short vacation there while in the Army. The island is
sometimes called Korea's Hawaii & is a popular honeymoon destination.

Wiki says Yang is 5'9" & 195 lbs! So maybe there's hope for we not-too-tall athletes if we bulk up on burgers, malts & ramon?

Apparently you are quite young. There have been many VERY GREAT golfers over the years and many are still with us. Tiger woods did not invent golf, and it was a very big deal long before he was even born. Many of the most famous and best golfers played in Minnesota long, long ago - at Interlachen, Gross, Keller and others. Gene Sarazan, Babe Zaharius, Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Sam Snead, Lee Trevino, Gary Player, Raymond Floyd, Byron Nelson (a REAL great), Chi Chi Rodriguez and many others. Yes, Tiger is the best of his generation, but golf was here before Tiger and it will remain when Tiger is gone.

Pretty sure he was talking the time between. Golf was NOT an big deal (in relation post Tiger) through the 80's and early 90's.

Woods is a great champion and compared to most other athletes who dominate their sport he is humble. It's not his fault nor his wish to have the media stumble all over themselves to be near him. Having said that it was great to see Yang win convincingly by playing an unbeatable game today.

Tiger putted poorly. Federer choked at the Rogers Cup last Friday in Montreal. Up 5-1 in the third, Federer proceeded to lose the next 5 games in a row on his way to losing in the tiebreaker 3-7. Now, that's the definition of a choke.

Daily Horoscope for May 23

Leo

You're in a very idealistic mood today, making it almost impossible for you to view loved ones in their true colors. If they've got any faults you won't see them because you'll have blanked them out. This rosy vision of your nearest and dearest is fine if it doesn't last long but it will cause problems if it persists and you continue to brush any problems under the carpet.
