Fred has many more problems then the old back.....

He and wife break up...finds woman in NC.....break up after 6 months
Moves in with Ms. Masters when she leaves her long time husband....
9months later......breaks up with Masters to go back to wife Thais.....

All report he is an asshole...with back problems and real life drama

He is still a great golf guy, everyone goes through personal stuff. Most people that are successful are viewed to be "a-holes" by someone or other. Look at Faldo, the word "a-hole" has circled him for years as well, still a great golf guy. I think that would be a great captains pair. The american a-hole against the British one. Sounds good to me.

I can give you the true, word for word drama on what kind of a person Fred Couples is, but you may have to wait for the book! He doesn't deserve to be on the PGA Tour the way he treats women and children! Or the way he talks about all of his "friends" either. I'm not bitter. Crushed! That's one of his favorite words by the way. You all deserve to know the man behind the smooth swing. Makes John Daly look like Man/Father/Husband/Boyfriend of The Year!

There are a number of us who know the real (would be) Fred Couples. He has been horrible to so many children in his life. He's a real frosting kind of guy with NO CAKE!! It's all for show~if the truth comes out about him he is HISTORY!!

Hey..I live here in Sb and have heard some pretty heartbreaking things about the way Fred has treated his kids. Never really knew the truth but seems things are buzzing around here even more since he has been seen with his wife over the holidays. Saw them out together and he sure isn't a nice guy like everyone thinks. His wife seems very nice by the way, speaking to waiters and friends passing by while Fred seemed to stare off into space, very annoyed.
Kids were great too. I overheard him complaining about his back a lot. Oh well, maybe there will be a great book out soon.

I WAS his girlfriend. Not enough space in Topix to say what needs to be said about him once and for all. I have known him for over 20 years...so I thought. His wife is a good person and a wonderful mother. My story is worth telling... all of his fans deserve to know the truth. I will tell it not so much out of revenge but out of truth and healing for my children who he hurt so badly! And their friends who met and knew him. Not to forget the entire Scottsdale AZ community.

I have met Fred and he is a complete jerk. I fell so bad for Thais and Kathy who had to deal with him. I hope a book does come out. People need to know the truth, especially if he has treated children poorly. How dare him? I am glad God has not blessed him with his own kids but I know there were step children involved. Fred you need to get a grip

I'm one of his biggest fan, and my opinion about fred is complete diferente,fred is a profecional golfer and one of the biggest in the PGA my respect for him.
He needs to find the right woman for him and he will.

We've known him since birth, and helped him get on the tour. He's disappointed everyone in his family and their close circle. He's full of himself, has forgotten what really matters and is dumb as a brick

Newman2 is telling the truth I believe...We live in Naples, Florida in a Gated Golf Community across the highway from The Ritz Carlton Golf Resort..Fred Couples is here every year playing in the "Shootout Golf Tournament" which is the start to "Silly Season". We have observed him since 2005 and I will tell you this man is so easily distracted by women..With this not being a crowded tournament~~we can position ourselves right on the green and directly across from where he is about to putt. He blew it in 2005 when Adam Scott was his partner. I was with my boyfriend and found myself distracting him..Trust me~~it is not hard..Between holes when he is not in his cart~~he comes up right behind you and pounds his golf ball on cartpath like a basketball and then bumps you and keep on going..During 2007 some blond who was not attractive was following him throughout the tournament with his caddy..What a trip..My boyfriend and I were laughing because she was dressed so inappropriate for the outing and all the guys were abusing him about his taste in women this particular day....She was riding with him in the golf cart so everyone knew that she was his for the evening..His life is full of drama no doubt..He obviously suffers from many deep seated issues that go way back to his childhood..This gorgeous athlete hates himself and hates women also..He cannot form a normal bond as his previous history with two beautiful women tell the take.. Read his interview in the May 2009 Issue of Golf Digest. This will give you an insight into this man..You decide for youself and then post..If he has a "girlfriend" he certainly is not loyal..Good luck whomever tries to date this man..

I was the fiance of Fred when he met Thias. He came home after missing the cut at Doral on my birthday and told me I had two days to take my son and get out! We had been together for five years. Not a fight, no explanation, just get out! It was hard at first but after what my son and I had already been through with Fred and from what I have seen and heard he gave us the biggest gift ever.

You couldn't of summed up Fred more perfect. I dated him at the end of 2007 into 2008. We were inseparable ! We traveled and talked about the future. He met my child and family too .We practically lived together and thought we'd be together for the long hale . Out of the blue one night he called me and said "I just can't give you what you need, and I don't know when I'm going to see you again. I will ship you your things ". And I never saw or heard from him again. Although we didn't invest 5 years with each other Not a fight and no explanation. I was speechless and devastated . It took me many months to heal my heart. However , I'm glad I made it out alive. It was a blessing .I feel for Thais and her children . He is all smoke and mirrors....

Sorry about your story and Fred..Obviously he was never loyal to anyone especially while on the road since these tournaments are held annually in Naples, Florida in November or December..This chick he picked up was white trash..We were all dressed for the event.( Proper Attire ). He is a bitter man with a lot of anger inside and wants happy women to share in his misery. Pushing 50 years old and very lonely..He did you a favor!!!

What a way to go out with a BANG..... LAST PLACE ! The last tournament of the year on the PGA TOUR.
