To Jay Williamson, who in the article above complains about Michelle being in the field--Michelle Wie beat you in the first round!! You shot a 74 and an 18 year old young woman just went out on the same PGA tour course and beat you by shooting a 73! So put your tail between your legs and shut up :) You are the joke.

How can you say it was the same golf course when she tees up from a different spot? She is now despised by both the PGA and LPGA players.

You are wrong. Do you think the PGA Tour would let ANY player in the Tournament for ANY reason play from different tees? The answer is NO. Michelle Wie is teeing off from the exact same tees that all the men use.

Michelle Wie is teeing off from the exact same tees that all the men use. EXACTLY from the same tees. But, I will say she is out of her league and yes, she could beat anytime, even when I was at my best but that does not change the fact she is out of her league.

Jay shot even par today. In spite of that, he is going to miss the cut...
How is Michelle doing?

By the way, I think most people are wrong when they say that Michelle is out of her league. There is a lot that players in the PGA can learn from her. For example, if Lance Ten Broeck who shot 88 yesterday, and Ricardo Leibovich who shot 87, had been paying attention, they would have known what to do after 16 holes or less. I am surprised they have not learn the "My wrist hurts" or "It is too hot out here for me, call the ambulance," and some of the other excuses. What is wrong with these guys??? Please pay attention to the young lady. Oh, and Parker needs to start learning that there is a "fine line" between the 76 or 77 that Michelle is likely to shoot today and his 62. Yes Parker, your 62 is almost the same as a 77. Guys, please pay attention!

It just makes me laugh about how those who can't do anything close to resembling what she's done in life, but yet is so full of themselves that they sit on their judgemental seats and hurl insults as if they could do better. LMFAO Oh BTW, you and Jay can can now stop squeezing your ass cheeks since Michelle had two horrid holes on her back nine today and 'will' miss the cut. Bet she had you and Jay nervous as hell. Again, I'm LMFAO. She's getting her game back slowly but surely and there is frickin nothing you or any of the other hateful and jealous baboozas can do about it. Yep, nothing you can do to stop her. Nada, zilch, zero. I'm seeing her swing returning to form each and every tournament now, just a matter of time, not if any more.

I am glad I gave you something you can laugh about! Since you enjoy this so much, keep on reading. I am sure there are others who will oblige.
By they way, my bet is that the ladies of the LPGA, playing at the British Open, are laughing also!!!! Do not fool yourself -- they may not say it, but they are enjoying this too! Oh, yes, I am also sure that the majority of the PGA guys are also laughing inside.
See, you have lots of company to laugh with! That should make you very happy...

Oh believe me, the ladies at the LPGA weren't laughing, they were looking with nervousness, because Michelle showed that she could hang with the big boys on their big course, just had two horrible holes that's all.
Don't worry she is just about 100% with her game, and she 'will' now look towards the LPGA to make some noise. Don't you worry.

MBK every interview she has had she tells every one that she is close, but playing against the men is just plain stupid at this point, even on a second teir event like this one, her coach once again stated in an interview that it was not a good idea as to hit with the men she has to swing out of her shoes to keep up, the courses are longer and the PGA players are long without having to put 110% effort into every swing, in leadbetters own words when she plays with the men she has to "swing out of her shoes" leading to shots going every which way.

The stats do not lie but tell the real story
M/W Driving accuracy tied 110Th distance 80Th putts per round 70Th Greens in Reg 122 and this when the best players are not at the event

I agree with you that she shouldn't have played in this PGA tourney, but I also see that except for one horrific hole and one double-bogey, she pretty much was able to hang with them. But yes, I agree with you that she shouldn't play any more PGA events and now direct her full attention towards the LPGA. Whether she makes enough at the Canadien Open or not, I agree that she should play the LPGA fulltime next year. As for her interviews, I think many misread her positive thinking as arrogance.

HEY MBK, HANGING WITH THE BIG BOYS MEANS SHOOTING MID TO LOW SIXTIES TO CONTEND, MAKING THE CUT IS NOT THE PURPOSE OF THE TOURNAMENT, SO NO SHE DIDN'T HOLD HER OWN EVEN WITHOUT THOSE TWO BAD HOLES. YES I AGREE SHE HAS TALENT AND CAN PLAY, BUT SHE NEEDS TO GET HER GOALS STRAIGHT, WINNING IS WHAT THEY ARE OUT THERE FOR NOT JUST HAVING FUN, AND DON'T BLAME THE LPGA BECAUSE THEY WON'T GIVE HER MORE TOURNAMENTS TO PLAY WITHOUT BEING A MEMBER, SHE MADE ALL HER OWN CHOICES, BESIDES THE FUTURES TOUR INVITED HER TO PLAY WITH THEM, NOT A BAD PLACE FOR HER TO GO GET HER GAME AND CONFIDENCE BACK AS WELL AS LEARN HOW TO WIN. OK TELL ME I'M A LOSER NOW.

OK TELL ME I'M A LOSER NOW. First of all, you make your points very calmly without hurling insults or being nasty towards others, so I applaud you for that. I only say crap to those that say it first and/or are extremely mean-spirited. As for the PGA, I agree that she shouldn't play in any more of those events. But as for hanging with the PGA players, I was more referring to her abilty to shoot a decent score on a 7200+ golf course set up for the PGA, and that she averaged 300+ yards on her drives.

Wie is horrible
|
Hehehe....looks like she made a fool out of herself again! Sure, I'd like to play on the PGA tour too! But I know I am not good enough! Why can't this fool admit it and stop ruining the game. Michelle Wie is no different than someone like Gary Coleman trying out for the role of the Terminator. Sure, he acted at one point of his life, but does that make him good? Same here with Wie. She cannot win on a lesser level, so how does that make her able to compete for the PGA? This is why the PGA is a joke.

How pathetic are all these losers posting all their meaningless opinions about things that they will never know about. None have done anything worth while so they feel the need to dump on this poor teenager just so they don't feel as pathetic as they really are!
You are all losers!! Dirtbags who measure success by how many cans they dig out of the trash cans!!! That was soooo funnnyyy! Go back to your malasada making jobs!
