the loss of SBS sounds like the foul up at the Kona Ironman where the official coffee was declared as some South American brand.

The LPGA has problems. Simple ones that should be corrected such as slow play, caddies aligning the players and the very short courses they play. Americans need to step up their games because too many foreigners, especially S Koreans, make it boring to watch. Heck, LPGA television rights are negated to ESPN2 because the viewership is so low. Creamer and other LPGA players should come up with suggestions because they themselves are the demise of the LPGA not doing good, instead of blaming the Bivens! At least she tried to do something about the language barrier that is prevalent in the LPGA.

The LPGA is finally feeling the pinch when titled sponsors are pulling out. You cannot blame the sponsors because one factor becomes very evident. Too many Korean golfers dominate and they are good to take the bulk of the sponsor's money. The sponsor's intent is to make the golf tournament entertaining to a wide spectrum of people in the world and not only satisfy the people of Korea. As the Korean girls dominate the LPGA tour, many of us are losing interest and turn to other sport programs. The sponsors are realizing this negative interest in the tournaments and are pulling out.

This Korean Golf Attack is going to kill the LPGA. The remedy might be to abolish the present LPGA and start a new association with new rules.

The Korean government sponsor the development and expenses of these ladies on the LPGA tour. Americans should wise up. Sponsor a Golf Academy on our own soil. Hawaii is a good site as the weather permits us to play golf all year . The Korean girls are on the professional tour when they are 18 years old and are veterans at a young age of 22. The golf game is not easy and certainly not accessible to many youngsters. When you talk about introducing and developing youngsters, only a large corporation or a government agency can do this.

These chicks are really sour about not getting to come to Hawaii anymore. Heck, I'd be too. The fact that there are so many Koreans speaks well for them and I say, good for you. May the best golfer win, but the reality is that the TV audience is turned off by the Koreans. They are boring and cold and their appearance does not make good tv.

The Americans have to stop eating pizza all the time! Yeah, a dress code should be implemented to eliminate the nausea that some of them cause. Many foreigners play well because the short courses are made for their slow-motion swings.

dress code, YES!! may be the rating will go up a little.

LPGA tried to implement English-only policy; how about no-fat-bottom policy?

ok, so foreigners are not long hitters but they're still dominating the tour.

I totally agree. Only Korean golfers allowed with the tour renamed KPGA!

As I read the article it appeared that there is a failure to communicate in the LPGA. It is hard for me to believe that the decision to find someone else to braodcast tournaments instead of the SBS wasn't/shouldn't have been Ms. Bivens call alone. I feel almost certain that there were other board members who participated in that decision. Sounds like an internal fight for power going on. Someone is not telling the truth to the players about the inner workings of the LPGA's decision making.

Perhaps there are some changes that need to made to speed up the matches. Certainly having caddies lining up putts all the time slows things down. Perhaps putting a limit on either the time allowed to line up putts or limiting the number of putts caddies are allowed to line up.

I don't think banning participants from countries outside the US makes any sense. Look at the NBA or just basketball overall. There has been a huge increase of players from around the world in the NCAA, NBA, and even high school teams. Diversity is a good thing socially as well as economically. This is a global economy/society and competition is rigorous. Foreign players don't seem to have a negative affect on the PGA Tour. It drives American players to practice more and improve their game. Tiger and Phil seem to be doing OK.
