I think he needs to balance it all out. I have heard other drivers spend more time in their garages than he does, but who knows if that is true. Its his life, and his choices.:)

Spending time setting up the race car is more important than Vacation time. JMHO!
There's only so much the driver can do off the track and according to TJ's tweets, he and Jr. have been at the Hendrick shop several times this week.

Even Mike's tweets have them busy.

maybe he should be practicing more, or maybe he is trying to get his head on straight. we don't know what he is going through right now. everyone has slupms they need to get through. compare jeff gordon's performance in '08 to jr's performance in '09, a lot of similarities. when the most popular driver doesnt win all the time it is a credit to the competition he is up against, not because he is overrated. the fans have reasons to like him; when people say they are jr fans and have no idea why they like him, then those are the fans that make people think he is overrated. i can't stand 'fair-weather fans'....

^ I can't stand fair weather fans either. Which is why I say good riddance to folks like X Jr Fan. If you can't stick with him through the tough times, you sure as hell don't need to be there for the good ones. I sat in my chair and sobbed after he won at Michigan last year. I couldn't just up and switch to someone else even if I wanted too. Junior got his hooks in me, I fear. LOL. Look at the Dallas Cowboys. The haven't won a playoff game in 12 years, and yet they still have one of the biggest fan bases in the NFL.

I was also at Michigan last year when Jr won, and I was elated! But most of the fans in green were leaving before he even got to victory lane. Those are the 'fair-weather fans' I am talking about; I stayed as long as I was allowed, just to soak it all in, because you never know when another win will come around. Fans that say they are Jr fans just because Earnhardt is the only name that sounds familiar are not fans at all. I also went to charlotte in October last year, even though Jr hit the wall around the half way point, I was pulling for him to salvage some points. I was in Miami for the season finale last year; once again Jr had troubles early, and ended up with a DNF. What I am trying to convey, is that although my driver has some shitty races, especially the ones I was at, I still come back for more, and I still love this sport and Jr will always be my driver.

I cried too. My hubby kept asking me was I losing my mind. lol It's emotional when you pull for somebody and cheer and curse and they finally do what you've been cheering for them to do all that time.

And that's the reason why it ain't "His championship" he doesn't think he should have to apply himself.

Probably when you were a Jr. fan, but since he's not winning now you jump ship which means you were never a Jr. fan to begin with just jumping on the bandwagon ... go jump again Bandwagon Bozo!!

It's not fair to Jr. to expect him to do as well as his dad, there's only one Dale Sr.!

Comparing sons to dad's he's done better than Kyle Petty ... LOL

Daily Horoscope for December 8

Taurus

This is another day in which you should be monitoring the progress you've made so far with the festivities and deciding what has still to be done. You're operating very efficiently right now but you'll be even more effective if you can plan your time carefully, write lists of what you must buy or make, and be realistic about your capabilities. But don't expect to work miracles.
