What you failed to mention, is that often when Tiger wins, it's only because most of the golfers behind him weren't able to mantain their "A" game. Time and time again, I've seen the player playing with him in the last group, just appear to give up.

Tiger vs. Roger Federer - Who is more dominant in there sport? Tiger won his first major at the age of 21 in 1997 at the Masters which was the first PGA major of the year. Tiger now is age 34 and has won 14/52 majors ever since he won his first. That's a wining percentage of 27% in Majors, Not Bad! Tiger's buddy Roger Federer also won his first major at the age of 21 in 2003 at Wimbledon which was the 3rd
ATP Major of the year. Roger now is age 28 and won 15/26 majors ever since he won his first. That's a wining percentage of 58% in Majors, Awesome! As you can see, Roger won 15 Majors in 1/2 the time it took Tiger to win 14 majors and don't forget that Roger won his first major 6 years and 25 majors after Tiger won his first. I know, but Roger doesn't have the TIGER SLAM - which is wining all 4 majors in a row, but not in the same calender year. OK! But Tiger doesn't have the ROGER SLAM - Which is 3 parts, 1st - Being ranked #1 in the world, 2nd - Having the ALL TIME Majors record in your sport. 3rd - Having MORE MAJORS than the rest of the field COMBINED! How dominant is that? Finally, Roger doesn't have a unique first name like Tiger, or a golf last name like Woods! Roger is not African American and doesn't stand out like a Black Sheep, but SO WHAT!

Tiger Woods is ranked as number one in the golfing world. Until Phil or somebody else out points him as the number one player in the world then Tiger will continue to be the number one player in the world, no matter how bad he plays. 2010 will be a great year on the PGA because there is a chance that someone could over take Tiger as the number one player. Of course when Tiger came back from being unable to play because of his operation the margin of Tiger losing the number one slot was as close as it could have been but then Tiger went on to win 6 tournaments this year etc etc. Phil will have is work cut out for him to overtake Tiger in 2010 but with his new founded putting skills he does have a chance, especially if Tiger just concentrates on the majors and plays in a minumum of tournaments next year.
