Wie should start playing with her peers

MICHELLE Wie, the American teenager who probably did more to damage the LPGA Tour than the recession, will be back on that tour in 2009 after gaining her card at a qualifying tournament in Daytona Beach, ...

Michelle Wie did not pass up the Ricoh to play in Reno. She had missed first round qualifying to try to concentrate in US events and was apparently out of the Ricoh when she accepted the Reno invitation.

She excited a lot of people with her first round 73 at Reno. Her best efforts of the year were at State Farm and Reno.

Exactly what did she do to you to make you think she needs your forgiveness. There is another side to this foergiveness issue. Will Michelle Wie's fans forgive the LPGA?

If Annika just missed a PGA cut by 4 shots her one go at it, what can you say about Wie just missing a cut by one at age 14?

Why should Wie's fans have to forgive the LPGA. Michelle has , over the years, behaved badly towards the LPGA/Players.
Regarding Wie missing the cut at 14 by one stroke--How about a few years later, with, presumably, more experience, coming in/near last place?
Wie was not out of the Briish Open--all she had to do was qualify for it which she passed on. All bad feelings will be forgotten if Wie plays on the LPGA tour with respect towards the tour and the players. Personnally I think she will do very well on the LPGA tour and this time next year all will be forgotten.

Sorry, free country. Michelle gets to do what SHE wants, not what you want her to. You people have no more right to order her about than she does you. She has the right to do what she pleases, whether that pleases anyone else or not. Whether her choices serve her well or not is also hers to decide. Once more, FREE country.
