Uh, Mike, just one problem: Wie can't play in college because she forfeited her eligibility by turning pro. Where is she going to find the art of winning -- playing nassaus against 12-handicappers?

Pressel appears to be highly overrated! She missed another cut today and has done nothing since she was handed a win at Nabisco. She may have played well in Junior golf but this is the real world now. And reality is she is not as great as she may think she is. It seems she is a spoiled brat, more intent on shopping and driving gas guzzling cars than she is on playing well. I'll bet her sponsors are thinking twice about what they have done.

You would think that a 'reporter' would know what he is taliking about when reporting on a particular subject but, noooooooooooo, not this one. He also states that Wie is hiding out at college. What???? She has always said she wanted to go to college(Stanford) so she isn't hiding out. he states that she is going to give up college soon to pursue her golfing career. Last I read she was taking a semester off to try and get her game back. He also makes a comment about how Pressel is on the tour and making 1.5 million dollars in prize money plus sponsor money. Does he not know that Wie made more sponsor money(20 million +) and definitely better off than Pressel is. If Pressel doesn't get her game together she probably won't make that much in her career. I don't what subject this reporter is knowledgeable in but he sure missed this subject by a lot.

You know, at one point I felt disappointment at Morgan because of her outspoken complaining that Michelle was getting all the exemptions when she didn't deserve it, and that it should be extended to herself. But I then felt somewhat sorry for her when she had the opportunity to prove she was better than Michelle at the 2006 Fields Open, but got totally crushed and outplayed by Wie. So much so that she broke down in tears after they were paired together for one of the rounds.

But then she gained a lot of respect from me for dropping all the complaining and working hard on her game because she realized that her game was in fact 'not' up to Wie's standards at the time. She worked very hard for the following year and I feel that was what helped her get in position and to win her Major.

As I also stand up for Michelle, I will do the same for Morgan. So she's having a poor stretch, haven't all of us had periods when our game just plain sucked? I truly feel that she will be back competing for tournaments again before too long.
At least that's my wish for her, as is my wish for Michelle.

BTW, It was good to hear Pressels' grandfather talk better about Wie.

Wie is a farce, and her father should take his little circus act far far away from the men's world in the PGA, as she has no business going there, except to be like a prostitute and let daddy pimp her out. And that takes a spot away from a man that has skills and belongs there. Even Annika knew her place and didn't overdue the novelty, but also, Annika is a way better player than Wie will ever be.

Not a bad article, but you may want to check your stats respecting the so called "astonishingly long drives". You'll find that in fact she is at best middle of the pack on the LPGA and compared to the men would be near, if not at, the back.

Well I'm hoping that she tried and realized that perhaps that even to make a cut on a PGA event isn't for her. And you're probably right, not too many PGA tour players who can't drive it at least 300.

As for the comment about the drives, I don't know about now, but she was definitely one of the longest, if not 'the' longest before. Looking up stats is not the best way to gauge a players distance, because they only usually measure a couple drive3s on a couple of the holes per tournament. One thing they don't elaborate on is that she uses a 3W on many of those holes.
