Well, I think the HEADLINE should read 'Clarke will SKIP the U S Open. The way the headline reads one would think he didn't qualify or is sick/injured, which he is neither. He just has a different path to his goal. RYDER CUP

I smell bullshit, since when does anyone that has the ability of being lucky enough to be in a major skip so they can get geared up for a nuisance like a Ryder Cup event? Those events are the dumbest thing in Golf. Worthless farce, just like Wie and MBK

Ryder cup is crap. He should worry about representing himself and earning his own name before taking care of a team that means absolutely nothing in the real scheme of things. I could understand if Tiger did this, but that would be understandable because Tiger doesn't have to prove much these days. Clarke is far from a Tiger

Ryder Cup is big in a lot of Golfer's mind. Technically, Golf in the 'real scheme' of things means nothing compared to whats happening in the World. Its a support and enjoyable to watch but in the real 'scheme of things' means nothing.

The majors are much more important than any Ryder cup. This is why he is truly retarded
