I'm no Dawkins fan but christianity sure has been the motive for a lot of people getting snuffed. Even now.

If you have proof you owe it to the rest of mankind to cough it up. No one should keep such a secret, Who in their right mind wants to go to hades. Uri Gregorion is the only person who has stated one way or the other if there's a God. Alexander the Great existed before anyone outside of Judea knew about god and he conquered the known world. Emperor Constantine (once again, the Great.) Rebuilt the glory of the Roman empire after nearly a century of constant civil war BEFORE he was Christianized. In the end the story remains, stop looking skyward and take your own destiny in your own hands.

I am not going to enumerate violent actions by individuals and mobs that have been committed by christians, but just a few key concepts that come to mind: Easter Pogroms, Inquisition, and the catholic church elevating Thomas More to sainthood for torturing people to death for reading an English language bible and then the celebrated pope J.P.II making said saint the patron saint of politicians. The christian religion's bible contains many calls to violence, and people continue to use the bible to justify their violent criminality. Atheism has no such book, and atheists do not justify their mistakes by believing in fairy tales. Religion is nothing but superstition, and Richard Dawkins in opening the door to knowledge and reason, no wonder christians are so afraid of him.
