Billboards are for retired crooks anyway.

What a fun column to read. . .If only it were fiction . . . I, for one, am surprised that the Bush Administration (through DOJ or FBI) has not been able to produce more investigations after 7 years in office. . . If there is a story there, I suspect John Kass would not be the guy to write it.

What is the point of the story, man? Tell me! So a crook is running around with a politician, is that it? If so, say so. Quit trying to be poetic. This column reads like you rushed with 10-minutes before deadline to get something out because some editor was chewing your butt.

So don't think that the DOJ, Bush and/or FBI aren't influenced by 2 scummy politicians: thompson and Bush.
Most important, one must realize that the dispicable M E D I A has the POWER to brainwash the public, to write things and demand investigations, and to not write things and not demand investigations.

Give us some background on why your family no longer has a business in Bridgeport. Maybe that is where you hatred of the Daley's stem from.

Was it the fact that inspectors came into the restaurant or the fact that they were turned down for a liquer license. I am from the 11th ward and my family has lived in the neighborhood for over 100 years.

Richmond sounds like the guy who was accused of killing 10 people and a dog. He triumphantly refuted the allegation by producing the dog, alive.

Frankie- I was going to start my post the same way before I even read yours! What is the point of this article? The first line set and odd tone and made me wonder if this was satire or real. Halfway through I got bored, gave up trying to figure it out, and just stopped reading. Journalism at its worst.

I think the audience is not the Tribune readership but a small list of individuals who may know more about the billboard bidness on our highways and byways...and who may have an axe to grind.

John Kass is his own man. John Kass is responsible for John Kass only. Nobody has perfect relatives and nobody has the guts to write what John writes.

I live in Deerfield. First our beloved Mayor alowed gigantic, hideous expensive stautes to be built and erected in front of the village hall. Then he decides to sue ComEd. Now he's meeting with questionable characters about billboards? THROW HIM OUT OF OFFICE for poor judgement!
