Chief's Pub extinguishes hunger

Great food great service, staff makes you fell at home.

The place looks great, but dont be decieved. My girlfriend and I were about to leave and for no reason the bouncer thought we stole a few drinks. Instead of talking to us professionally, the bouncer grabs my girlfriend by the arm and says "Get the Fuck out." We tried to handle things professionally, but the bouncer wanted to start problems. This place definitly has no class what so ever. Chief's Pub may be in classy Lake Forest, but I will never recommend this place to anyone or even go there myself again. We tried to speak to the owner about the disturbed bouncer, but he just walked away. Again, unprofessional. I can't believe that this pub would have a worker like that. I do not recommend going there unless you want your girlfriend/wife to be abused or threatened.

I really LOVE this restaurant. There is a great atmosphere and the staff is AWESOME!! They had my food ready quickly and got my drinks to the table when I wanted them. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone-families, couples or just a night out with friends.

I took my girlfriend there a couple of weeks ago. We were really hungry and the place was packed. The hostess said she could seat us in about 15 min and ofered to put our food order in while we waited. As soon as we were seated she brought us our drinks and our food was ready immediatley. Cheif's was very accomodating and really made our night. The pizza was great too.

Suggested for the after work crowd. Basic bar food- nothing fancy.

Staff is friendly and helpful.

Overall a fun experience, It is your usual bar fare, the burgers and pizza are great, the beer selection is nice and not too pricey and the staff are very friendly. It is much better than The Lantern in every regard.

The family owners aren't the kindest. I heard they fire staff all the time.

We had a large group that stopped in the other night. It is really a fun place and the service is fantastic. Our server was the best, I think her name was Stephine. We had a pretty big group and the place was packed, but at no time did our glasses go empty and she couldn't have been more friendly. I would definitely come back...

Great burgers and pizza, A-1 spot for a casual meal. It's loud on weekend nights, but it's a sports bar, whaddaya want. I've had great service there and poor service. They seem determined to hire pretty girls as opposed to skilled wait staff, but again... whaddaya want. Go during less-busy times for the burgers and pizza, you won't be disappointed.

Horrible service!! Bad food. Not worth it at all. I heard they fire people all the time. Bad family who owns it!!!

They are doing a great job and we need places like this so let's support them!

My only negative....and it's not a big deal...but they scrub down the bar so well at night that there's kind of a Pine Cleaner strong odor at lunch

Great burgers and pizza. Salads are excellent too. A lil' pricey, however. I've dined here many times. Never once have I seen a bouncer. Negative comments about the owner are obvious Lake Forest elitist snobs that give the town and its people a poor reputation.

What bouncers??? It's a pub in LF! Clearly this person was overserved somewhere else. Great place to hang with girlfriends. Casual, friendly customers and staff. LOVE the bartenders, so great. Bar owner is very friendly and takes a personal interest in making sure his customers are comfortable and treated well. Try out the digital "juke box" in the back- really cool!
