Had the same problem but your solution worked. Perhaps it's like a hard reset. Next time we store it for a while, I'll disconnect the battery. Thanks again!

Thank you, just bought one from a second hand store and it wouldn't come on with just solar or charge. I did what you said and it worked. It is charging as we speak with the sun. Thanks again.
