ipod went through washing machine

hi wondering if anyone can help = i accidently left my ipod in my shorts and my mum put it into the washing machine - will it ever work again - i have left it for a week to dry out but still no life unless it is plugged into the computer Help any ideas what to do?

My friend had the same problem, I solved it by pushing the USB plug in only half any and it started up again; good luck.

give it time...same thing happened to me. I was so bummed and ready to buy a new one. Wait a couple weeks and leave it on the port. Mine just started blinking and works great now...good luck!!

i washed mine and my dad is pissed what the hell do i do should i use a blow dryer what is the deal

My 4GIG iPod nano went thru the washer and dryer it still works but the screen doesn't HELP!

Try dry white rice or sicilla gel it will dry it out if this doesnt work try crackin the sucker open and using a blowdryer

Let the Ipod dry out. I washed my son's Ipod, left it in a cabinet for a few months. We took it out and it works perfectly! I heard the same thing with cell phones. The key is not to attach it to electricity too soon. Let it dry out.

I jus done mine as well...i put it in the airin cupboard all night an didnt turn it on, now its on the radiator. jus leave it to dry as best you can an see if it works! good luck! XD

yup mine also has had a washing machine experience i just cracked it open and put everything on the radiator it turns on with the usb cable or the dock but i just get the sad ipod saying visit www.apple.com.su pport/ipod gutted looks like a new ipod for me!!!!

my mom put my pants to wash and my phone plus my ipod wash in there but my mom took out my phone later when she heard some noise and left the ipod in my plants and my ipod went throught the dryer too now my phone and my ipod dont work what the hell do i do
