Really does work, I was freaking out when no matter what I did I couldn't get the ipod classic working, hit those two buttons and all was well.....they should really tell you that trick, cause I would of never figured it out alone. Darn Apple.

Yo homie this really worked

My iPod has been frozen for a year. I thought it was messed up. I finally Google it and seen the tips and I tried it now it is playing again. Hope it continues to play.

I HAVE THIS PROBLEM TOO
Well, I pressed stop when I was listening to a song, then I slided the Hold bar on my ipod. After I got home, I connected my ipod into my comp and realized it's freezing, I was so scared T"T, I started iTunes and it didn't recognize my precious iPod... After that I took my ipod out and connected it into my comp once again. After a while, my ipod still stayed freeze, I tried to "Add hardware" from the Control Panel, then I started iTunes again, after about 15 minutes trying, my ipod worked, that was scary

WHAT CAN I DO

I just tried it and it worked on my apple ipod 160gigs, thanx a million.........too badt
