Second hand ipod

I have a second-hand ipod (30gb) with lots of music. How cam I delete it.

recently got a 20 gig ipod of ebay, but was damaged so paid for it to have a new 30 gig hard drive. only thing now is that, even though i have the latest itunes, the ipod doesnt show up on itunes - any ideas?? thanks

to remove passwords just plug it into itunes

I was about to buy a second-hand ipod cuz mine just broke and now i'm too broke to afford a new one. This may be a stupid question, but does anyone know whether when I plug the new ipod into my computer, will the songs from my itunes automatically upload onto the new ipod? I'm just scared the new ipod will delete my itunes library or something like that.

Hey, does anyone know if it matter which computer you restore it on? Like, I am trying to do this for a friend, and I don't want to risk either permanently changing my itunes or making it impossible for her to use it on her computer...should i just do the whole thing at her house?

friend you can change your name on your pc itunes.....
