When my Ipod freezes I hold the menu and select(middle)buton down for about ten seconds, it resets when you do this. You don't have to wait till the battery dies.

Hold the Menu Button and the Cente Button Simultaneously until the Apple Logo appears. Release. It should then work fine. Hope this helps.

Step 1. Switch the hold button to hold then back again.

Step 2. If that doesn't work, hold down menu and the centre button at the same time till the screen goes black.

Step 3. Select the language you want for the ipod.

PLZ NOTE THAT THIS RESETS YOUR IPOD BUT IT DOESN'T DELETE YOUR SONG ETC. IT ONLY RESETS YOUR SETTINGS TO THE DEFAULT.

Hopfully i helped!!!

if i don't click on anyhting on my ipod for awhile it turns off. NORMAL. but when i want to turn it back on, the screen is all white and i can't see anything. i usually have to plug it in the computer all day but that doesn't work sometimes. ive only had it for a year and a half... is it my Frostwire music or is it because i have too many Pictures or neither...
