My iPod shuffle won't play..help me!

Someone gave me a first generation iPod shuffle (512 mb 2005 edition), but it doesnt play! At first, I thought maybe it's the file format of the songs that was wrong..so I converted everything to mp3..then I used the Itunes autofill feature..but still it doesnt play. Any idea what's wrong? Please help me..I want to use this ipod shuffle. It's so handy and portable and it says it can load 120 songs..but I can't use it.

when icharge mine it blinks orange light and it dont play

my ipod shuffle wont play songs it wont charge and it wont turn on whats wrong with it?

i've downloaded music onto my ipod shuffle a couple different times to see if it would fix my problem with the music not shuffleing. It just plays the same music over and over again i feel like i have tried everything... how do i fix it if its even fixable?

hey i need help my ipod turns orange when i conect it then it wont play when i yake it out then i connect it to put new songs on but it wont show that the ipod is connected

press menu and select ( the round button in the centre) at the same time and hold for 10 seconds, it should reset. same as control/alt/delete onyour computer. HTH
