Okay, so I have the 30g ipod, got it for Christmas...and I have a lot of songs on Limewire I wanted to import, well...I did that, worked fine, but then after I put them on my ipod I deleted them off Limewire, and now I cant get into the songs on Limewire to change the info (cd title etc) and it will NOT play the songs that I have deleted on Itunes....is there any way to help this?...should I download another program?...I am completely "not in the loop" when it comes to this stuff so please help me out, anyone! Thanks a bunch!

it's like trying to open or edit a file that doesnt exist anymore. You can't edit or listen to the songs because you removed them your limewire folder.

Um yes, Limewire is not a place where your files are stored. It is a place to access your stored files. Does that make sense? It's in your hard drive and Limewire is only a place to view them. That is the same for iTunes.

In conclusion- delete them from Limewire, you delete them from your computer. Not on your computer, no longer on your iTunes either. Go to your recycle bin and retrieve them. Oh yeah, don't delete Limewire because that will probably cause your computer to crash. Good luck.

Transfer what? What are you talking about, I thought you wanted to know why you couldn't play or change your information on iTunes..

Sorry but you can't. Just use this, it's just $20...
Just download it from ipodmediaselection.com . It will save you a lot of troubles and it will save all your songs.

hopefully you didnt delete them from recycle bin (if you got windows) but the reason you dont have any songs is because itunes accualy uses those files to play. it doesnt copy them into an itunes library! just the directory get put into itunes. if it did copy the files to itunes, and you have lets say 15 gigs of music, then that would take up alot of hardrive space. if you emptied recycle bin, then you are screwed. if not, restore the songs and your a happy ipod customer!

Go to file>add folder to library>browse for the shared folder it should be under C:/Documents and Settings/Owner select ok and then your songs will go into itunes. Hope this helps.

I cant get music that i downloaded from limewire to transfer to my ipod. I have tried to save them in folder and it only lets me transfer previously downloaded music. I have tried everything.

for the limewire songs to import onto your ipod, do they have to have that itunes symbol beside them for it to work?

Now that i finally figured out how to put songs on my ipod through limewire i cant figure out how to burn cds. I used to download songs on limewire then go to my media player, make a playlist and click burn. It worked every time. Now that i have been putting songs on my ipod i cant burn cds. Once you have a list in limewire and have sent it to itunes how do you burn a cd?

The way it works for me is to download songs in limewire, next click on library. With library open click explore, Once you do that it should open your shared documents folder, All of your songs will be there. One at a time , Right click on them, Select open in itunes. Now when you try to drag them to your ipod they will transfer. Hope this helps. Dean

Daily Horoscope for June 3

Virgo

Life catches you unawares today but for once you don't really mind. A friend is likely to ring up with an exciting suggestion or you could receive a spur of the moment invitation that's too good to refuse. An interesting encounter is also on the cards, especially when you're brought together through unusual circumstances.
