The Catholic church has lost its popularity in the USA due to their behavior and the fact that Americans are pretty well educated. Their behavior is of course the molesting of children but now we can add aiding and abetting illegals and their illegal behavior. I thought the bible said for a good christian to follow the laws of the government you are under. Well, our laws clearly stay you have to come into this country LEGALLY, are you paying attention Catholic church?!?

Roman Catholicism in the United States has grown dramatically over the country's history, from being a tiny minority faith during the time of the Thirteen Colonies to being the country's largest profession of faith today. With 76.9 million residents professing the faith in 2003, the United States has the third largest Catholic population in the world after Brazil and Mexico.

As of 2001, approximately 24.5% of Americans identified themselves as Roman Catholic; this accounts for roughly 32% of American Christians.[1] The 2008 Yearbook of American and Canadian Churches, a statistical listing of major religious bodies published by National Council of Churches, reports 67,515,016 registered members of the Roman Catholic Church. The next largest Christian denomination, the Southern Baptist Convention, reported only 16,306,246.

Hey Sam, haven't seen you around in awhile. Do you believe that the government is every really going to step in and stop these churches. They know they've been harboring fugitives for years and years, they know exactly which churches, which ministers or priest. These people stand out in front of these Churches and thumb their noses at us. It's never gonna stop. I think this may be one area we have to accept defeat in, because the words "church" and "God" are locked firmly in our minds as going hand and hand. "Touch the church" then you're speaking out against God. That's what they want us to continue to believe. Pretty much what they told when I left the church anyway, but I passed on their guilt trip.. Good to see ya again!!!

Just where is the thread for your "facts and figures?" Talk about a no-mind that's you. Perhaps you can also find the Pontiff's accounting showing the 2007 figures, reflecting running a negative. Amazing, everyone I know has left the church!

Lets let talk about the Employers of illegal Immigration. They spend billion of dollars by lobbing our elected official. They typically exploit the workers wages. They sometimes help their employees gain fraudulent social security numbers and I.Ds. For the past 5 years the construction, landscaping, hotel and restaurant industries have all seen their wages decreased. I for one was happy to see Mac Donalds in Nevada hit with a million dollar fine and possiable 5 years in jail for hiring 58 illegal aleins. Why are we not boycotting these places?

Its a well known fact that when Catholics become educated they often
stop paying attention to what the church preaches, using birthcontrol is an example. Modern American Catholics use birthcontrol in the here and now.
Read your history, the Catholic church has done great harm to many humans since its inception. And now they are telling illegals that they don't have to obey American laws. This I find typical of the Catholic church.

Being a river baptised person, I don't know much about the catholic church. They are the richest
church in the world and the priests like to fondle and rape young children. Don't sound like
they give out good advice either.

The catholic Church is a sick organization. It's all about money and power with this sick group.

They even condone pedophilia for the sake of money. Bogus religion praying upon the uneducated people of the world

Hey Gag G.

I just saw this on Monday, the 28 th or wahtever the date is.
Greetings!!

Glad to hear from you!

I think the gov't should, and suspend its tax exempt, and make it subject tot he ;employment rules of the privted sector ie: have to give unemployment benefits to employees, etc.

They get away with very inhumane behaviors in that arena too.

Only the priests and up have cushy jobs and all that securtiy! They can live like kings!

You are either in or you are out, it is not what yo know( Jesus) it is who you know- the power grabbers.

There is alot of money to be made in the Church
through missions donations, estate gifts, large contributions, ceremonies, Funerals Weddings, Quince Anos ( etc are grabbed by the power hungry!)

The music ministry is mirroring the clergy and hierarchy and I don't thik I have to spell that out.

I do not believe that power comes from God- but the opposite!

Let me get this straight. The Boosh Administration backs slave-labor and the Catholic church shelters them. I don't think this is what God has in mind.

You arre right .

I think the church has turned into the earthly power mafia.

There are a few good priests and nuns, and Catholics, but they are few.
The rest are in it for the worldly perks and power.

We all have a responsability to see the truth of this, as at least a first step!
