Review: Motorola's Droid delivers lots of features and looks go...

I am no Fan Boy. I am however an open minded tech enthusiast who has worked in the field for over 20 years.
I love reading these so called expert columnist who claim to have the pulse of the nation at their finger tips. After reading this amateurish column on the new Droid it drove me to write this short piece of literary crap.
Android 2.0 just hits the market and all this person can mention is how this phone is not an iphone. " As a game system, it's severely lacking. As a media player, it's worse. The iPhone can replace a standalone iPod. The Droid won't. Getting songs onto the thing is a hassle. No media sync, no smart play lists, no TV shows or movies.".
How shortsighted this person is. Don't you think in a day, week, maybe even a month we fear their will be ample support for syncing itunes, syncing music, apps of everything imagineable to do these tasks. I could go on and on but as I mentioned this is a short piece of literary crap so I have to leave the real reporting to columnist such as You know.

I agree with your assessment of the review. but for completely different reasons. The reviewer was more distraught that there was no syncing of music than the fact that the mp3 player has terrible sound quality, and that the stated dvd quality video recording doesn't really exist either. Given these facts i must still carry around a mp3 player if i want great mp3 sound and the only thing the video recorder is good for is you tube, but i guess thats the culture we are in anyway.
