Global meeting to hear embattled bishop

I can help but believe that the issue with Bishop Schori is not the fact that she is a woman, so much as it is that she is gay. It is my belief that Jesus would have no problem with a female Bishop leading His flock; either in the Episcopal Church or the Catholic Churches (both Roman and Orthodox). My opinion is that the Church is paying more attention to the doctrines taught by the Apostle Paul than they are the ones taught by Jesus himself. Paul contributed much more to the doctrines and traditions of the Christianity than did all of the other Apostles together. He was a feminist and was homophobic. Having studied the Bible thoroughly I find that there were many women who served in the capacity of Apostles even though they are never called such. Mary Magdalene is the best example, but Mary, the mother of Jesus, worked just as fervently to spread the Gospel Message. And there were others as well. The Episcopal Church, I believe, is showing just how much in error they actually are and are completely ignoring Christ in favor of Paul who used every opportunity he could to turn it into what he personally believed.
