Lesbian mom asked to quit PTA over Prop. 8

Robin McGehee...walk with your head high....and TAKE your child out of the brainwashing Institute ASAP! Why you would put him in there to begin with....well, thats your choice...but NOW you know the kind of LOVE these FAKE religions have.....STAND WITH YOUR HEAD HIGH!

Talk about hitting "close to home", I am a graduate of St. Helen's School (first through 8th and kindergarden). Part of my dad's legacy is going (or WAS) to the school. This saddens me very much, as a gay man in Oregon, only allowed "Domestic Partnership" by our state. This is just more of the Roman Catholic Church's oppressive stance against it's own flock. Conformity, not belief, conscience, and participation are now the top priority of this hostile church. As a victim of priestly sexual abuse myself, I have been forced to conclude that the RCC is a threat not only to my own personal health & safety, by my civil liberties and place in society. Shame on the diocese of Fresno. LIGHTEN UP!

St. Helen's School and the School Sisters of Notre Dame taught me to INCLUDE everyone, and respect their rights, and their consciences.
It's true that all I ever needed to know for life, I learned in kindergarden at St. Helen's parish.
Thanks for sheding light on this miserable attempt by the bishop of Fresno to silence thinking, loving catholics.
