I agree he must have been sexually abused to have done this, probably a family secret that no one wanted to address. So sad that an innocent little boy had to die.

OMG!!!! there are no words that come to mind that could even begin to excuse or justify this boys behavior. I am appauled that this lil 4yr old was left w/out adult supervision. What went so terribly wrong in this teens life that he would think it was OK but then then the 4yr old was going to tell so he killed him :-(

Gee, let me guess, not a two parent family. What is going on today with teens? No morals, values,etc. Lock him up and put his " parents" in a cell next to him.

I live in a small town and have seen a woman with 5 kids come into McDonalds and leave her kids in the play area. First, McD's is not in a mall or shopping center! Second, she did not purchase anything, just dumped them with the oldest, who may have been 11.
A little while later, she returned with shopping bags and then left, again, without the kids (one was howling not to be left behind). These kids were 2-6 years old.
What the (insert preferred cuss word) is going on in her mind? Invisible, free babysitter? McD's does not compensate their employees for child-care services and there is a sign that says all children must be with an adult to play in the play area.
So mad about people who don't care enough about their own kids, I know they don't care about anyone but themselves!

Well, I don't use a walker (yet) and I think a dryer is out of the question, but...
the more I see and hear in the news, I am thinking that public stonings might be a good idea. I'll buy rocks with my bag of quarters!
My grandbabies are only 3 yrs old, 1 yr old, and 3 months old, so I am hoping this is a big reality check for my kids, as well as all other parents.

why every time something happens it quickly turns to a racial issue??....it doesnt matter what race you are they are sick ppl everywhere!...this is a sad thing to happen...but like other comments i agreee they need to find the core....this kid was probably a victim himself.....very sad!

These type of stories break a person's heart completely, especially if we're parents. I have children and fear for their safety daily, because of so much inhumanity. Sometimes I don't want to read the news to not hear, but realize that it's reality. I pray for my kids and everyone else's children. Parents please, let's watch our children closely and listen to what they have to say. I pray for this little boy's soul, he is now with God. As for this teen boy, who knows what he has gone through. His parents should be interviewed. Who knows what he also has gone through, but don't condone what he did.
