Local: Swearengin points toward transition

Twelve hours after she claimed victory in the race to replace Fresno Mayor Alan Autry, Ashley Swearengin said she was already forming a team to make her transition into City Hall as smooth as possible.

I say recall her for discriminating against gays, are there going to be gay and straight restrooms at the mayors office....shall I move to the back of the bus?

Huh? What? Lighten up. We are all equal. Lose the drama. Stay positive and keep moving onward and upward. Few have said anything was easy.

Congratulations to Ashley Swearengin. She is our Mayor and like President Elect Obama, deserves 100% of our support.
