Fernando Alonso visited the Maranello factory on Friday for the first time.

The purpose of it was to take measures of the Spanish star for making his seat and to find out how Alonso wanted the control buttons to be placed on the steering wheel.

Schuberth's engineers also took measures of Alonso's skull so that they could make him a special helmet.

Ferrari continues to try and get Alonso to perform in Valencia on the Ferrari-days that take place after one week. At least Alonso cannot yet drive the red F1-car because ING has forbidden it. They say that their contract with Alonso ends at the end of this year and they are not giving permission.

Thanks Nicole:) Already knew but it's nice to see a Kimi fan that hasn't gone down the path of Alonso-hate because he took Kimi's seat at Ferrari.

Sorry, the news came up on this forum after I put this one.

Thanks GFG, it took some time but I have come to terms with it and accepted it. No hard feelings after first of course going through them all - LOL

It is going to be interesting to follow Alonso in Ferrari next season, honestly!

Equally my dear,It will be interesting to follow Kimi at Either Mclaren or WRC Rally.I honestly hope he is competitive where ever he goes.I've been checking the F1 news regularly to see where Kimi goes!!

He will definately be my number 1 McLaren driver if he goes there:)

If He goes to WRC Rally then I must admit that I would be equally excited because you know how much I love Rally.ALOT!!!

wow what's up this that, when Ferrari announced they had signed Alonso 2 months ago, the worshitters were telling us all that he had been working on the 2010 car for months already and had been to Maranello often ... what's up with this ... don't tell me the worshitters are bullshitting .... no never they wouldn't do that ... would they??????

I like the measuring the skull thing, wonder if they will be able to produce a helmet big enough ... hey Worshitters you do know who was instrumental in helping develop the Schuberth helmets don't you .... after MS crashed at Silverstone in 1999 they got involved, and along with Schumie's input (still today) they develop their F1 helmts, used by the likes of Kimi Massa, Rosberg, Heidfeld and Fisi and of course the newbie Alonso ... ok worshitters all together now ... thank you Herr Schumacher ...

Hi Barry, I know he has been there earlier but this this was an 'official' visit to the factory after he was signed, methinks?

News come from our most unbiased source, Turun Sanomat. People even translate by google their articles on almost every forum I've been to.

But I'm not sure I got what you meant?

Daily Horoscope for December 14

Leo

Stand by for fundamental changes in a close relationship today. Something that has been hidden or secret until now comes to the surface, forcing you to acknowledge it. For instance, if you fancy someone but haven't done anything about it, the atmosphere between you now could become so torrid that you're finally overtaken by passion.
