so they want to change the rules again.it seems every time something doesnt fit "change the rules".Be sensible the fans want to see motor racing, irrespective of the teams and drivers selfish demands, not arranged results. If alonso was so fast he should have found a way to pass if that is impossible he must settle for second place!Thats motor racing.

whats really motor racing is maximizing points. i think we all know that. doesnt mean we support it as fans. but lets be honest here, this has been going on well after the rule was put into effect. ferrari was just more obvious about it than any other team this yaer.. if you want to call out ferrari you have to call out a couple teams..if not all of them.

The argument has been put forward that IF Alonso were to lose the Drivers Championship by the point difference between 1st and 2nd (7 points) then Ferrari did him a disservice by not telling Massa to let him pass in Germany. THIS IS RIDICULOUS! At this point he has to make up 90-some points just to tie Hamilton. Hamilton and the others ahead of Alonso must also finish out of the points for the next 4 races. What are Ferrari smoking? Can I get some, because it seems like it's some pretty amazing shit.

IF Alonso was, in fact, the faster driver he had 20 laps to pass Massa! He can drive a bad car to good results. With a good car and patience he could have made a legitimate pass and avoided this whole mess. I have no respect for Ferrari, Alonso and Massa because they took the easy way out and denied the fans a thrilling race. I wish them nothing but bad luck for as long as they continue to race regardless of venue.

if alonso loses then he loses, ferrari have a long shot with Alonso and even longer with massa it makes perfect sense why they did what they did. Again i still dont support it.

intresting though.. so even though you know other teams use team orders, you only have retaliation with ferrari camp?

what about jenson being told to dial it down in order to preserve hamiltons position in austria?

what about webber being told to dial it back and vettel to dial it up?

whats the difference? team orders is team orders.

also, that good stuff ferrari is indeed smkin needs to come this way..i might ejnoy it lol

Ferrari could not care less what the fans or media think of what they did. They didn't care i 2002 and they don't care now.

The simularities are almost exactly the same. They pay Alonso more, just as they paid Schumacher. They pay(ed)them to win the World Championship. Massa and Barrachello are also-rans in support of those who are primarily paid to win for Ferrari.

I would be totally surprised if F1 has the stones to rule against them. This is Ferrari after all, and they usually get their way, no matter how it looks. The question remains... Is this sport?

Depends who you ask. If you ask those who run Ferrari? Yes!

And just how can the President of the FIA rule against the team he ran for over a decade? A team where he employed the same practice FIRST?

I'm not holding my breath for a ruling against Ferrari.

Alonso is the big liar in the f1 history.
he won his 2 titles by cheating.
Nelson Piquet jr is a parfect example.

Zeppy please do some real writing or just let it be.
No one here takes you serious with your fragmented scribbling. Grow up. Do some research on who won his titles by cheating and ruthless driving.
Before this post you said Barrichello is a liar, now it's Alonso. According to you only MSC says the truth, is fair and worthy for F1.
What a nonsense - get real.
F1 is a great sport, I visit as many races as possible but selfish people like MSC are destroying the sport with their unethical behaviour. Sure, we want to see exciting races, but not unfair actions of old men you are losing face by desperately trying to defend low positions.
F1 will be better off without him.

I missed the topic in the last post a bit - sorry.
Team orders existed and will exist despite bans. Ferrari did its worst with the order in Hungary and everyone wonders how highly paid professionals could do that. THAT'S bad for the sport and not what single drivers are doing. If Alonso is faster, why didn't he overtake him fair and square? Why didn't Ferrari give the order before the race, let them give us a show fight - we, the real fans, would know anyway. Massa is too far off to win the title - Alonso has the better chances, so why not support him? It's the title they are fighting for after all.
This is the most exciting seasons this century; more than half of the races done and 5 drivers fighting for the title - 3 more still have a theoretical chance - I love that.

so based on your logic F1 is better off without the likes of Senna and Prost too, because those two, well their behaviour on the track was extremely unethical too. Only MS has ever employed evil tactics like team orders in your eyes .. funny how Ron Dennis had to get Prost's permission before he signed Senna to the team, and we all seem to have forgotten how those two purposely drove into one another to win, not just a race, but the championship too ... no can't be, only the unethical Michael Schumacher does that ... But wait there's more ... what about the Singapore 2008 fiasco with Alonso ... nothing unethical about getting your teammate to crash out and destroy a race so you can steal a win ... only if it's that damned German is it unethical ... boy you are stupid ....

You don't get it, eh? We're watching F1 now and talk about racers from the present, not about dead or retired racers.
Who really knows what happened in Singapore 2008 and who was involved? We do know what happened with Ferrari in Germany this year - it was too obvious...
Stick to the thread.
Mentioning Senna and Prost all the time doesn't make Schumi look any better. You cannot defend him, so you point at others - very smart...

gavin frew and the rest of people so angry with Ferrari (not with Mclaren when they do the same, ain't it?): you are pathetic.

Alonso was racing and Massa was racing and above all, FERRARI WAS RACING.

Ferrari has to race Redbull, Mclaren and all the rest of the teams in the grid. Ferrari has no obligation to race against themselves.

Time you grasped that.

Wow GWO, how quickly you worshitters forget. what was it Alonso was squealing about some years back " "I love the sport, love the fans coming here — a lot of them from Spain but I don't consider Formula One like a sport any more" ... that was shortly after his renault was found out to be running the illegal mass damper and he was now having his ass kicked and looking ordinary again, and he wasn't winning races anymore by cheating ... oh no hang on he still does that, he arranges for teammates to crash so he can steal a win, and of course for the team to move his teammate over so he can be gifted yet another win ...

You say Alonso was racing, Massa was racing and ferrari was racing ... hmmm two out of three isn't bad, Massa was racing, Ferrari was racing but Alonso, he was whinging like the coward he is ... as usual ... Alonso wasn't racing, he was looking for a free pass again ... "this is ridiculous" ... and he got it ... "Felipe, "Fernando is faster than you. Can you confirm you understood that message" ....

oh and just by the way GWO, according to the rules, Ferrari has to race against themselves .. team orders are banned, that means nobody is given special favours. Of course there are ways of getting things done which doea not raise eyebrows, but the blatant way Sacadalonso did it in Germany was nothing short of disgusting, again a sign of his lack of class. But it was an insult to the fans, the cities and countries that host the races and the sponsors who spend millions to make all this possible. Don't give me that crap that they don't have to race themselves ... maybe in worshitting land that is true because Alonso is incapable of racing anymore. In the end I hope it comes down to either Macca or RBR doing the same so one of their drivers takes the WDC ahead of Alonso, then I want to hear how you worshitters squeal like pigs about how unfair it all is ... because the rules in your eyes are different when it comes to El Cheato, he's can get away with anything, if it was Button who moved over like that for Hamilton you would be hunting Lewis down with your pitchforks and your rope ... you hypocrit ...

Mclaren drivers don't whine to their pit wall...." This is ridiculous "....in order to have a teammate to just moveover, and handover their position.....they race..!!

Nelson Piquet Jr. and Felipe Massa were sacrificed in order to give The Whiner a win. Alonslow acts like a...Pimp...expecting his teammates to just work for him, so that he can be victorious. I'm glad that sh*t didn't work with.....Lewis..!!

Well, I did read the last sentence. You are wrong. I have nothing about Mclaren issuing team orders, as they in fact do.

This is one of those days when money slips through your fingers in no time at all unless you're very vigilant about your spending habits. Unfortunately, it will be difficult to stop yourself splashing out whenever the fancy takes you, whether or not you can afford it. You're especially drawn to tempting little treats and luxurious indulgences.
