With the engine map quallifying advantage diminished for Red Bull and Mclaren showing the best race pace on both high downforce and low downforce circuits,I'd have to say Lewy is the favourite for the win in Valencia.I hope Ferrari can continue to improve and I'm not convinced that the new engine map regulations will harm Red Bull too much.Newey tends to find a new way to bend rules.

I think Alonso can still win with the circuit more suitable for the current package of the F150.Lewy is in the best position to win.Vettel will be up there despite the restraint on engine mapping in Qualli.Mercedes is the dark horse threatening to break through to match the pace of anything out there.
It will probably be the best Valencia F1 GP ever although 2009 was pretty good when Rubens came from behind to beat Lewy.

I am sure RBR will have a back up plan to their "illegal car"...(if they cant copy it then teams will try at least have it banned)...but no one is sure how will it perform in qualifying...will wait and see.RBR consultant Helmut Marko said he suspects Ferrari will benefit the most from the FIA’s clampdown.
And that McLaren will be affected less, or similar to us as they have a very good copy (of the Red Bull exhaust),” predicted Marko....

Anyway...Let us not forget Mercedes who should also gain some benefits because of the above...But Mercedes seems to rum out of breath quickly...and if it wasn't the case, surly Schumi would have been on the podium...

it is about time that Ferrari enjoys the good part of luck...enjoy the race every one...

Hey 4Mil, if you are still feeling bad, go and knock down a half of a fifth of Jack Daniels in an hour, and I assure you that you won't feel anything for awhile. I believe that G-Man brought up a good point regarding engine mapping, and that teams will not have access to their ECU's after qualifying under parc ferme condition. This could have an affect on Red Bull more than others, but we will see. My top 5 picks differ from yours, only in the top 2 spots.

Top 5

1. Hamilton

Indeed about time Ferrari wins a race!! It's great all this off throtle diffusor blowing bullshit is getting axed.

Great to see that 1.6L V6 turbo/hybrids will replace the pissy 4 cylinder ones proposed by Renault in 2014!

You will all notice that when I am back on the forum...Alonso starts winning. It's my Buddha energy. It's my noble, humble soul. My kindness, my sweetness, my divine energy stream.

Heh..heh. Just a reminder that Lewy is a bitch. Redpoops Bobina has mellowed, I see. His still a little bitch..and will remain one till his fat ass croaks on his couch and his big boob grows bigger to a point when he can't see his little tiny wienie anymore, eating his potatoe chips and Macdonald burgers.

Write to me and I will teach you manners and civility and class. HEY!!!!!

I say Alonso..the Zonzo...the Zorro...the master wins at Valencia!!!!

Lets not thee doubt the Buddha of this Forum. Hi Luis, GFG, Nicole( I dream of thee) and the rest of my Buddhahood.

Hey Buddha.I found something of interest for those being of One with the Formula of One.The Oneness of time and space, hence we knew there was truth about the "King Mufassa" as we knew.

"The Surname Alonso is perhaps the most Royal of all Spanish names"

check it out...but don't tell Poopsy that the name derives from the Visigoths of Germany that settled in Spain ages ago..shhh

So if Alonso doesn't make it, does it mean that your divine energy stream is broken, Siraj?

I didn't even know I was part of anyone's Buddhahood? How ignorant of me!!!

Still dreaming of me? Nightmares I presume ;)

Well sorry to burst your bubble but the names of the game today is Seb and Lewis, those two will rule F1 in the future. Mark my words!!!

It's nice that Seb and Lewy have a Finnish girl fan:) I have grown to like Lewy and accept his clownish flaws as it provides me with much appreciated laughter.A unique fast racer but i think he should stop pretending to be an Aryton Senna because Ayrton never goofed up even 5% of what Lewy has done.Seb is the type of racer that other drivers need to beat. That's all I will say about him for now...lol

Alonso has already strongly conquered the World but will prove again that he's better than ever. It's his turn to beat the pretenders like it was when Schumacher eventually towered over Damon Hill,Jaques Villeneuve,Mika Hakkinen,Montoya and Raikkonen who only won a WDC when Schumacher retired.

As a general principle and being fair to myself I can not put Vettel as the winner as I resist fearlessly to the realization that the championsip fight is over ...and not only by Alonso alone!!!

1. Alonso (from pole and without overtaking anybody ..not even lapped ones ... YESSSS ...PLEASE ..JUST THIS TIME !!!!!)
2. Lewis (assuming he'll not be taken out nor he'll be taken out in a crash ..otherwise spare me this place to my 3rd choice).
3. Webber (last opportunity I give him to beat Vettel)
4. Vettel (assuming there will be no "Vettel is faster than you" to Webber on the radio).
5. Button (having best lap times but waiting for Vettel and Webber to crash into each other).
6. Nick Heidfel (my spare one in case one of the above gets a DNF)

Cheers everyone!

Hey Gman. I agree..agree..agree. Think about Alonso being with Ferrari for another 5 years? What does this do to Mr. Redneck Poopsy?

The poor pathetic bastard has been been to go and search for another team, another driver?? Hahahahhaha. Like Schumcrasha, the diva being whipped by the younger upstarts. What embarrassment that the legend is going through. You must to the West next year, buddy. We go watch Canada and USA. Eat vegetable curry with paratta while we watch race? What say?

Why are you the only one who constantly insults members or reporters in your username?

Why do you think that you have the right to come and preach about insulting?

You are the reason I come and go, you insult me in every way you can in your usernames.

It seems like everybody else here except for you, actually has an opinion over who they cheer for and who they don't cheer for, which in itself brings good tension and heated debates that every now and then go overboard - but the debates are about F1 and the drivers.

It's not that I'm hurt, it's only removing myself from a place where I have to constantly see you insult me with your usernames, that I stay for a while and then leave. I choose to leave because of being so fucking tired over your crappy personal bashing that has no end.

Oh and I am not even thinking of the possibility of this going through your head. Only telling you that you could stop and think for a while before preaching about insulting and insulting members in your comments AND at the same time insult somebody in your username.

So you might just want to save some energy that is pure hatred, I'm not staying for long, I come and go and thanks to you my visitations are always shorter and shorter and the will to even open up this forum comes with longer and longer intervals.

As for the reporters you insult in your username; you think that everybody thinks like you but let me break the news for you... there are people here who actually enjoy reading their articles. But just because of you insulting the reporters in your username I don't feel like bringing them here at all.

It is low to start insulting professional reporters. Low.

Even more when you constantly insult them in your usernames.

The only reason I come back here for a few days every now and then is because people here have strong opinions and they don't all think alike. They express clearly their opinions, you express clearly your opinions of members and F1-reporters. Not much to debate over that, huh? Members and reporters?

You are one big insult. One only has to check the usernames you keep on changing - yet one thing remains; they are all insulting and you only change the target.

Yeah, some people here have troubles dealing with me because I have a different opinion, but they have enough of dignity not to change their usernames into something where they insult me or reporters - it's basically the same thing, it is all directed at me.

So I can say that I respect deeply members like Montoya, Redneck, Lawrence, Gazzuk, Sam, GFG, Shiraaz etc. who don't share the same opinion I do.

You can figure out for yourself if I respect you or not....

Oiiii, Zorro the Zen Master of F1!!!

You have to give me some time to think over it before making up my mind - you know, in the Zen-way ;)

I have to say that Alonso has good chances to good results here, I have already predicted him to come in 2nd. Vettel just takes victory after victory that it will require a lot before I change his 1st position with another driver.

Just as I was ready to surrender to you, you come with 'do what I say always'- oh Siraj, you said the magic words to me, lol

Enjoy the weekend everyone ;)
