Vettel is obviously taking the series by storm but will his dominance continue onto Canada? Will Hamilton keep a cool head and make clean passes? Can Ferrari challenge Red Bull finally? Should be a fun GP as Canada always is. Glad to see Perez back and ready for some action. Possibly the best rookie of 2011. Good luck to all the teams, drivers and fans. Bring on the Canadian F1 GP!

Hey 4Mil, I think I have found out what is giving Redbull their power over other teams, alot is from their blown defuser (exhausts)and a very good program for quali but they can't use it for the race because of the amount of fuel it uses, so if I am right by Silverstone Redbull could find themselves behind other teams, and this might be why Hamilton is catching under race conditions. If the FIA out laws the blown defuser later in the season, Redbull may have a problem if they can still be caught.

Hey 4Mil, I hope that Lewis can take pole position without this drama of last year.

Canada has been good to Hamilton, except for 2008, and the race pace of Mclaren looks as if it will give those rockets from that drink company problems.

Paul di Resta doesn't look to shabby, and my pick for rookie of the year. Look for Paul to be on a top team soon.

Lawrence,if Hamilton can get first or second on the grid,I would say it won't be a Redbull win as long as the team don't let him down.

Right Gaz, especially because Montreal isn't a high downforce track, which is something that the RB7 needs to enable it to dominate.

but let's not forget RBR have done all their dominating this season without Kers really working, which means the other blokes have had major advantage already but have not capitalised, if RBR get their act together with Kers, I'm afraid totally equalises any suspected advantage the others may be getting at the moment, and I suspect that if kers is sorted it will really show just how far ahead RBR are, it's certainly has not been luck that has seen Vettel win 5 of 6 races. I don't expect vettel to win it all, but for the rest to have any type of shot, Kinky Kylie and her power plant will have to fail a good few times to even give the likes of Lewis or Alonso even the hint of a chance, but it's a long season, of course it will mean Vettel has to fail and the others have to be totally 100% on their game, and I just don't see that happening to be honest ... time will tell

Hey Lawrence.another worshitter back here.I told Nicole to ban me from her Kimi worshitting forum even though I only participated on the spontaneous chat section that retains no records of posts.

It's likely that Macca and Ferrari will be even faster than they were in Monaco compared to the watery drinks team with a water splashing crazy frog as lead driver. The top straight line speed of Macca and Ferrari will be more of an advantage in Canada than Monaco while retaining the traction and mechanical grip around the slower turns.

The RB7 is so good that it's still one of the fastest cars even on low downforce circuits as we saw in Monaco.Just like last year when Webber destroyed everyone at Monaco.but they are likely to struggle more with the long straights coupled with slow turns in Canada.
You know when RBR struggle these days they can still quallify on the 2nd row!! But Macca have the best race pace now as we saw Lewy clearly faster than Vettel at the downforce track at Barca!! If only Lewy could have started like Alonso brilliantly did in Barca,He would have won by a comfortable margin of 10 seconds or more. Then Lewy had an even better chance at Monaco but got too cocky in Qualli by thinking he could Just go out at the last minute in Q3 and put his Macca on pole.

I hope Lewis beats Vettel in Canada like he should have done in Barca and Monaco! It goes without saying that I hope Alonso beats Lewis too:)))))))))

Vettel has the quallifying advantage with RBR's hot exhaust blowing/downforce supremacy, but now it is Macca that the best race pace clearly seen on both high and low downforce circuits aswell as on both softer and harder compound tyres. You should be feeling very confident Lawrence!!
Ferrari will be strong on the softer tyres in Canada and their top straight line speed is right up there amongst the best now. They just need more downforce which will inturn help the Ferrari perform better when we get to races using Harder tyres starting again at Silverstone.

I'm more confident in Alonso's ability than ever!!! He doesn't need my support at all:))) He can do it himself!! I just like to see him in a reasonably competitive team.

FORZA FERRARI!!!

A Spanish television station has been ordered to pay Fernando Alonso EUR 73,000.

The case dates back to December 2009, when the channel Antena 3 reported that the double world champion had separated from his wife Raquel del Rosario, the lead singer of the band El Sueno de Morfeo.

La Voz de Asturias and El Mundo said on Wednesday that a Madrid court has finally agreed to 29-year-old Ferrari driver Alonso’s charge of slander.

Alonso might hunt down mega-trolls like Bob from Atlanta next!!!! hahaha. Bob would have to pay atleast 1000x more hhaha.

1000 times 73,000 Euros = 73 million Euros!! hahaa. You'd better be a mega billionaire!! haha

The judge is ordering Antena 3 to correct the information and, as per Alonso’s request, pay the 73,000 euros in full to the United Nations Children’s Fund Unicef.

hmltn-1, very true, RBR do have a large advantage on downforce but it is largely only in quali, Vettel could find the wall this weekend,if he's not careful and as you say,"low downforce for Montreal". I think gives the race to Hamilton, if all goes well.

Bob, I do agree with what you are saying but the only difference between RBR and McLaren now is downforce i think. I am not so sure it is much else now but Vettel is along way ahead in the WDC as you say.

hey Sheep boy the difference is Antena 3 probably didn't tell the truth, from where I sit that's all I've done, but look on the bright side, i can easily counter sue the likes of you, shirazzo and luis and comfortably cover anything thrown my way .... so in essence you 3 better be the mega billionaires

you are of course taking it for granted that only ferrari and Macca are moving forward with development, sadly the problem now is that RBR in such a position of strength it puts the pressure on the rest. Macca have made huge advancements for sure, but ferrari are still at least a second behind the RBR's, keep in mind that Vettel and Lewis lapped Alonso in Barca despite the good start by Alonso. ANd all this with the RBR not having a functioning Kers. Newey is no fool, and if you reckon ferrari will have huge updates by Silverstone, one thing we know for sure is RBR will have their own updates that would neutralise anything the opposition throw at them, sorry GFG, playing catch up is very tough, unless ferrari come out with some incredible new development it's going to be much of the same for the rest of the season, I do reckon they will get better, and I have no doubt they will challenge for race wins and even win a few, but the lines are drawn already, with the likes of lewis Webber Alonso and Button all fighting for races, really all vettel has to do is sit back and watch the boys fight it out, keep his nose clean and it's all over for the season, for sure if the upgrades ferrari are promising for Silverstone don't work, they will be done for the season, they have already said they are ready to drop the 2011 championship and start working on the 2012 machine, and we will have a repeat of the 2009 season for ferrari. That will be miserable, because Ferrari are a lot better than all that, and to see them give up is just plain bullcrap ...

Bob, Ferrari have brought some big upgrades to this weekend and they are hoping it will corrected some of the problems and they are far from giving up on this season yet, we have all seen what can happen in years passed so Vettel is not WDC yet.

Daily Horoscope for June 2

Gemini

You're in a warm-hearted and generous mood today, especially when dealing with loved ones and members of the family. You want to give them as much of your time as possible, and also to do anything else that will keep them happy. The only snag will come if you're trying to spread yourself too thin and you end up making promises that will be difficult, if not impossible, to keep. You may forget all about them but other people won't.
