The last game of the 2002 season was big- Giants won 10-7 to clinch a playoff spot.

Also, in 2001, the Eagles beat the Giants 10-7 at the Meadowlands on a Monday night. This was big as the Giants had owned the Eagles for the previous few seaons and got a monkey of Reid, McNabb and the Eagles' backs.

the 10-7 Eagles you mentioned was actually 10-9. The Giants kicked the Birds all over the field in the 1st half and got 3 field goals. McNabb had one of his early career BIG passes on an out (James Thrash) right after 2 minute warning. I was there-it the 1st W over Giants in 8 or 9 games and broke a long Eagles losing streak on MNF. Don't let the facts get in your way as you post.

It's a great rivalry - maybe the best all-time in NFL. The Giants clinched early this season, but it will come back to haunt them as they will fall to the old strategy of "coasting" into the playoffs. They are asleep. They are missing Burress and Madison. Jacobs is less than healthy. Tuck missed practice this week. On the other hand, the Eagles are healthy, hungry, and have built up a full head of playoff steam. Sunday will be a repeat of week 14 in the Meadowlands. Giants lose in a close game. Eagles advance to NFC Championship game.

Beat the Giants starters and then come and talk to me. If you are hoping to play the JV team again you will be disappointed.
