That delay of game trying to draw the other team offsides is so lame. It's like in baseball when the pitcher looks at third and wheels toward first on a pickoff. Never ever works.

I agree on the delay of game. With only 3 wins, you have nothing to lose so why not just take a chance?

We're not rebuilding anything around this QB, Lets face it by benching Pennigton, the Jets gave up any chance to win. There are two other QB's on the Team, being that clemens shows no spark of greatness, lets see what the others can do.

Clemens was being groomed for the future, not to be our QB for this year or next year either. He's thrust in the frey too soon, and still shows promise, but you want to cast him out already. Do you watch the games or just hop on the most convenient bandwagon?

You're right. We've reached a point where trying anything is worth a go.

Don't know whether or not Clemens is our QB of the future, but he's a keeper. What we need more is a bigger and stronger front seven and Chris Long. With a few more lbs of muscle he can be a real good NT. We will have a better team next year with the deadbeat Vets gone. We need another CB and a couple of deep threat WR's.

We don't stink. We are having a difficult season. Granted, our need is great, but we have the beginning of a good team.

Clemens may not be our QB of the future, but as I've said before, he's a keeper and our needs at other positions are more important to fill. You seem to forget, Clemens was a second round pick from a small school with a good program and he was not being touted. He's smart, but he hasn't mastered the faster pace of the pro game yet. Rumor has it that Brady Quinn wants out of Cleveland. If I were Tangini, I would look into that possibility and see if we could deal. I know he wants to come to NY.
