The front office did a good job. Fins win 10 games, sweeping the AFC east minus away game at NE. Wildpat becomes best thing since invention of Shotgun. Henne starts at QB with Chad P as the wise Jedi Master on the sidelines "Ala, Strock for Marino" Sporano wins coach of the year. Fins get to home Superbowl. Life is good. Buffet gives away free beer to Dolphins fans at the stadium during playoffs. I love this guy being involved, it's good for the organization.

Miami did a good job of addressing needs thru the draft and free agency. Miami signed a bunch of undrafted free agents and maybe one or two will
prove to be gems. Defense will be better with cornerbacks davis and smith. Patrick Turner will
provide a much needed red zone target. And no longer will defenses be able to crowd the line of scrimmage with pat white playing QB in the wildcat. It should be a good year.

Everyone says Miami has a tough schedule but so does the entire division.

Ryan is a rookie head coach. They have no established QB (would love to see Sanchez twice this year)- the jits will not contend, Jauron has a losing record and will continue and all we need from the pasties is a split.

The colts will not be a major contender as the HC and OC are gone as is Manning's favorite receiver - put that game in the win column.

Top it all off with the fact the Fins WILL be a much better team and 10 or 11 wins is more than possible.

Hilarious! I was thinking the same thing. I like our draft better than our free agency. Lets go WildPat!

yes. he was too interested in what he thought was a hollywood career to take care of his football
career. Now nobody's gonna touch him with a 10 foot cattle prod.

Dolphins will be just as good as last year. But don't see them getting that much better. Bills added Owens, and Maybin. Dolphins have always had trouble with the Jets no matter who's playing QB in NY. And the Patriots are the Patriots. 8-8 season for the Fins at best. Pray for the wild-card.

We are a more talented team because of all the individual competition. Championship teams are built that way. Miami has competition at every position upping our talent level.
We brought in no big FA but players who are at/above the present talent level of our starters. We have players positioned to learn the system so when starters contracts run out we have someone to step in without losing a lot of talent for the position. We are positioning ourselves to be in the upper NFL year in and year out.
We may not be there this year but next year with a little luck I think we could finally have a championship run. I also think we will be better this year but our record will not reflect this.
Every year there is a surprise team that makes the SB, who knows maybe we could get some timely luck and make it.

I agree. Miami couldn't fill EVERY need this off season, but they addressed the majority of them. They can do some tweaks next year. All those rookies from last season should return better and stronger than last season. THis my be a much improved Dolphins team, but with this schedule, the record may not show it. I'm hoping for 10-6 or better.

I'm still not sold on Crowder, Carey, Grove. I think they were the best available, but we overpaid for marginal performers. I would have liked to see us take a center since the crop was bountiful, and I'm still slightly agog that with LB listed as one of the big needs going into the draft we didn't pick one up. That said - I love our first day picks.

Number 1 was a reach. Henne will be a star and will not be beat-out by White. what a joke to even suggest as much.

Everyone's so worried about the tough schedule. Im not. It works to our advantage. If you remember, Miami played its best football against the tough teams and played down to the Slugs Last season.

I think the Pat White addition may well mark a change in philosophy by our offense. If you imagine a colts like shot gun hurry up hybrid with the wild cat, you may see the future Pat white roll. The colts use Manning in virtually a spread when they hurry up offense with the shot gun, then if you add the wild cat that would be dangerous.
